You couldn't believe your eyes. Your old middle school crush was right there laughing with his friends. Holding her hand.

* Before*
Nishimura riki aka ni-ki. He was your classmate in seventh grade. You always admire how nice but cool he was. He always was polite to everyone but when he was with his friends he was cool and made jokes. You especially loved his smile it brought a brightness to his face. You thought you would never like him because well he was WAY out your league. One day the teacher had changed to seats to which ni-ki sat next to you. You felt a rush as you realized he sat next to you. You felt butterfly's in your stomach as he took notes. You two got close but you would talk occasionally which you loved. But the next year ni-ki wasn't in your class anymore he had been transferred to a different classroom. Your friends had always told you to confess before it's to late but you were to shy. It was the last week of school but you just couldn't find yourself going up to him.

" I can't Yuna what if-"
" girl shut up and just go"

You got pushed by Yuna which made me stumble for a second but when you looked up ni-ki was liking confused laughing with his friends.

" I'm sorr-y-y for that I'm gonna go"
You moved through his friends going home as you laid on your bed frame beating yourself for acting dumb.

It was the next year apparently ni-ki had moved to attend his dance school. Which meant he wouldn't be in the same school as you. You felt heart broken as you didn't fess up your feelings. You tried to forget him which you eventually did but one say at school everyone in a huddle. You got closer wondering why everyone was in the hallway in a circle. When you hear a familiar voice, ni-ki. You stood there in shock that he was there.

" guys I have to go to class I'm not leaving anytime soon." He smirked showing some of his smile. All the old feelings started flowing back into your heart. As your heartbeat began increasing. You shook your head as you realize ni-ki just walked past you. You went behind him contemplating if you should tell him or not. But he all ready went in his classroom. So you just walked frustrated back to your class where you saw Yuna and Claire talking, waving you over.

" hey did you see ni-ki back this is your chance girlll!"

" but he always with his friends and I'm scared" you melted into your seat sighing hard.

" free period is next ask him then " Claire suggested

" fine "

After the end of the class you did some breathing exercises as you walked nervously to find ni-ki. You turn the corner catching his figure as your about to approach you look at him and see a girl In front of him. He's even holding her hand. You couldn't Believe it were they dating? Whatever you have to tell him you thought in your head as you fake confidently walked up to ni-ki and poked his shoulder.
*NOW*
" ni-ki can I talk to you in private?"

" um sure" he waved his friends off as you two went to a empty classroom.

" what did you want to talk about?" He looked down at you which made you nervous.

" um ni-ki I have something to confess... every since we sat next to eachother and talked I had a thing for you and I just wanted you to know tha- " you got cut off by ni-ki

" wait we sat next to each other I don't remember?"
He furrowed his eyebrows confused. Are you serious right now the boy who asked for your notes when he slept or would talk to you randomly when he was bored. He even gave you notes before?! You thought in your head as you got a little sad that he didn't even remember you.

" we talked to eachother, you even lent me your notes ?! "

" ohhh but I still don't remember you sorry " he nudged his shoulders up having a straight little smile on his face. I felt like trash I remember him this whole time and he just acted as if I was just a piece of plastic. I felt my eyes tear up as I realized he just rejected me.

" are you about to cry- "
" you never even pay attention to me didn't you?" You scoffed walking out the classroom and getting your stuff quickly as you started crying calling your mom to pick you up. You ended up moving to another town where you swore that you would never open you heart ever again.
