I don't move.
I don't speak.
I don't breathe.
(A/N: Well, she breathes, but you know, dramatic suspense and all the lovely fun stuff.)
"Oh my gosh, I didn't even think about that!" I burst into tears. "I can't be a good mother if I forgot about that!"
Aaron cups my face, wiping the tears away with his thumbs. "You, my love, are going to be the most outstanding mother."
I sniffle. "But I don't know what it's like to have a mother, so how could I be one?"
"I could say the same about me and my father, love. What would you say if I said that?"
"I'd tell you that you're nothing like him, that you're going to be a perfect father." I let out a small smile.
"Well then, there's your answer love. You should listen to your own advise more." He holds me close. "No matter what, no matter where or when, I'm going to be by your side, alright?"
I nod, soft sniffles I once had, now gone. "Okay."
"I love you, Juliette." He kisses my forehead.
"I love you too, Aaron."
Aaron places his hand so it's hovering just in front of my stomach, looking up at me for reassurance. "C-can I?"
"Of course."
He lets his hand meet the hospital gown that is over my bare belly.
A smile forms on Aaron's face, one that you've never seen before - like it's a new smile, just for our child."Do you think it's a boy or a girl?" He lays me in between his leg, on the hospital bed, and interlocks both hands on my belly.
"I have a strong feeling that it's a girl." I rest my head on his shoulder as I put my hands on top of his. "Plus, I've always wanted a daughter."
"I've always wanted a little petal, a daddies girl." He kisses the crook of my neck.
"Oh no way, she'd be a mommies girl." I chuckle.
"We will see about that."
I nod. "We will."
"Though, seriously, we haven't gotten any time to really talk about this." I say. "This is a big deal."
I can feel him nod from behind me. "I know sweetheart."
I sit up and twist so that I'm laying on my side, looking up at him, in his arms.
"What would you like to talk about first?" He puts his hand back on my belly.
"I want to talk about work." I state. "How am I meant to fight in the front line, when I'm further along?"
He shakes his head and sighed. "You really shouldn't be doing it now, love." He closes his eyes. "You can't use your powers, sweetheart, therefore you are at such a high risk of getting hurt, or worse, killed."
I gulp.
"What am I supposed to do, though if someone comes and attacks me?" I panic.
"I'm going to make sure that doesn't happen, but if, say, it did, you know how to fight without powers, love." He kisses my temple.
I nod. "Yeah, I suppose I do."

A few hour pass, until people start to come and visit me.
Kenji turns up first, then Castle and James - obviously Adam doesn't want to bring James so Castle has - after them, comes Winston and Brendon, then, finally, Ian, Alia, Lily, Sonya and Sara.
"You know J, you could like pretend to pass out and then they'd have to give you sugar." Kenji said.
I shake my head. "That's not how it works Kenji."
He crosses his arms. "It is so!" He huffed.
"It's not, Kishimoto." Aaron interjected.
"Oh..." he shrugs. "That's how the system should work."
I shake my head again, this time heavier. "You know sometimes I wonder how on earth you've managed to keep yourself alive for so long, Kenji." I confess.
"It is quite the miracle." He sweeps some of his dark black locks off his forehead.
"The only miracle when it comes to Kishimoto, is that I haven't killed him yet." Aaron complained.
Kenji opens his mouth in shock. "That is outrageous! You wouldn't dare cross me, Goldilocks!"
Everyone in the room, other than Aaron and myself, tense up and shoot stares at Kenji.

Once everyone left, leaving me and Aaron alone again. "Hey Aaron." I turn and lift my head to look him on the eye. I was reading a book - he is still reading a book.
"Yes, love?" He sets the book down on the besties table. "Are you alright?"
I smile and shake my head. "I'm fine, don't worry." I reassured him. "It's just, I've been trying to think about names, have you got any?"
He thinks for a few moments before he says; "no."
"I waited for that long for you to thinking, just to get a no?" I giggle.
"That is exactly what just happened."
I shake my head - seeing his smirk grow wider, and into a full on toothy grin.
I love this man with all of me. My whole heart. My whole life.
