~*{Juliette's Pov}*~
It's been exactly seventeen hours since me and Aaron got home from the hospital and it's alright becoming stressful.
For some reason, everyone, other than me and Aaron, think that there's nothing wrong with what happened with the men altering the reports. I mean, they're being clueless.
"You're being paranoid, J!" Kenji sighed, running a hand over his face.
We are sat in a meeting room, trying to figure out this whole situation. Well, me and Aaron are, no one else seems to care.
"Miss Ferras, with all due respect, Kenji is right. Maybe you are being a little bit paranoid." Castle spoke. "The perpetrators aren't here anymore, they left the sector."
I sneak a glance over at Aaron, seeing his face that confirms that he feels as I feel. Uneasy and nervous.
This isn't going to be a simple case, of course, when I'm on bed rest, something has to come up! I just want to lay in bed all day and sleep.
Wonderful, thanks to the guys I left in charge, thanks for letting these two bastards get away.
...
Fuck this isn't going to be easy, being pregnant, injured, on bed rest, leading a sector, all while trying to track down two potential criminals.
