-SILAS POV-
Im currently in the kitchen with Ramiro and Saint, we all have smiles on our faces as we mix up pancake batter, everything is perfect. That is until my brother, Rocco walks in looking serious.
I look over at him, tilting my head.
"Silas, we need to talk." Rocco says, I sigh and set down the whisk. I look at Ramiro and Saint before kissing both of their cheeks.
"I'll be back.." I say to both of them, Ramiro looks at me with soft eyes as I walk away.
I follow Rocco out of the kitchen, I turn to him. "So.. what are you doing in my house.." I mutter.
He looks at me as takes a deep breath before replying. "Maria.."
My body freezes. "What about Maria..?" I question, my hands slightly shake.
Rocco sighs. "She was spotted breaking into one of our warehouses, the dumb bitch was going to the file room but she obviously failed."
I furrow my eyebrows, glancing away for a split second. "Why would she be going to the file room..?" I asked, confused.
Rocco shrugs. "No fucking clue, but please be careful.. you and Serena are probably both big targets for her right now."
I slowly nod. "I've protected Serena before.. I can do it again." I state. Rocco tilts his head "don't forget to protect yourself as well, Silas." He says.
I roll my eyes, sighing. "Okay.. is that all that I needed to know or is there more?" I ask.
Rocco smiles softly, shrugging. "Mom and dad are going to have a big family dinner, serena said that her and carlito have sometime to tell us all at dinner so I don't know."
I look at him. "I know what it is.." I say nonchalantly.
Rocco perks up immediately. "Tell me, right now." He says, putting his hands together. "Please.."
I roll my eyes, shaking my head. "I'm not ruining the surprise."
Rocco scowls "yeah whatever, see you at the dinner. You gonna come over later?" He asks.
I shake my head. "Ramiro is getting his wisdom teeth taken out today, I'm gonna take a few days off to take care of him."
Rocco's eyes widen. "Oh wow, hope the surgery goes well. Anyway I have to go back to Elaine, be careful alright?"
I slowly nod. "Yeah.. you to." I say. Rocco gives me a small smile before kissing my forehead and muttering a small 'love you' before walking away.
