It had been hours since they arrived at the hospital buck anxious waiting for an update on his daughter a doctor walked in the waiting room
"Evan buckley?"
"Ah yes here" i walk up to the doctor he has a worried look on his face which made me almost freak out
"Oh no Mr buckley its not bad but she might need some surgery on her arm but not for another couple weeks we want to make sure the bones heal on there own
"Oh ok thank you doctor...can I go see her now?
"Yes you may your boyfriend could go aswell"
Eddie who's next to me doesn't deny it bur stays quiet with a slight smirk on his face so I don't deny it
As we're walking to the room he speaks up
"Soo I'm your boyfriend ay" he elbows me jokingly
"Oh for sure Ed's " I look over at him making poker lips then imidetly look back ahead of me laughing and so does he
We enter the room im imidetly by Marie's side making sure she is OK
"Hey Marie are you ok sweethear?"
"Mmmm yeah it just hurts a bit" She sits up leaning against the pillow for support she then starts to tear up
"Hey hey whats wrong?"
She wipes her eyes "i-i just missed you so much I thought I was going to die"
"Oh marie.. you aren't going to die your surrounded by people who are and will be helping you we would've found you either way if you were a mile or a million away"
Eddie goes next to her and puts a hand on her shoulder then removes it seconds later
"Hey I know you,you go to the donut shop every weekend I see you there all the time"
She smiles looking at him happy to see another familiar face
"So when do I go home dad?" She looks back over at me
"Well I uhm don't know actually" and right as I said it Athena amd another officer enter the room we all look at eachother wondering what was going to happen
"Hey Buck and eddie, and you must be marie hi sweetheart"
"Hi" She says in a shy tone
"I have good news for you very good news actually,mari has been put into your custody and while we were cleaning up scene we found traces of cocaine and other substances so we went further ,got a warrent and found multiple other drugs which are illegal so now angie has been put into police custody awaiting sentence and court "
"YES YES YES! " Marie's happy
"She has always been a bad person she just never showed it around others"
Athena looks at the other officer then at me A bit worried
"Well since she's going to court we would like for the two of you to appear and give your statements ..that is if your willing to"
I hesitate
"Yes I will I might be scared but I have to for her and keep her safe"
"I'll do it to just like my dad"
"OK thank you sweetheart for being brave ill be back later to see you"
"Yes ma'am" she smiles ,her dimples appearing
Athena gets up and stands next to me
"You have a well manerd kid buckley good job im proud"
"Thanks Thena"
