"So how was school?" My mom asked, while I was eating. Sometimes I hate when parents ask me 'how was school?'. It's school there is nothing good about it.
"It was bad." I answered not looking up from my plate. Yep. It was bad, I had extra time with Dylan.
"What happened?" She asked, curiously.
"I was late so Mr. Stain give me detention." I answered. I wasn't even that late. Just a little. Maybe a minute or two. Like really? He just hates kids. I still don't get, why is he a teacher? He's like from the movie Horrible Bosses, you know one of the bosses who wold give crap about being two minutes late. Just like my math teacher. So Mr. Shit Stain is a Total Fucking Asshole.
"Really? How did you get home so early? You didn't sneak out, did you?" She looked at me, waiting me to look up and make eye contact with her. Are you serious? Nope, you got to be kidding me. Me and sneak out. No way. Don't you know me at all, mom?
"No, mom! I would never do that. He let me go." I looked up to her. At least one good thing came out of fighting with Dylan.
"Why?" She just couldn't leave it, could she?
"Dylan had detention too and we started arguing again. Mr. Shi-Stain didn't wanna hear it." I looked back to my plate.
"Oh. Again? Can't you guys just for a minute get along?" She asked. We have been like this ever since he moved in as our neighbor about a year ago. All though the real reason is that we knew etch other before he moved here.
And by the way, who builds houses so close? Didn't they wanna built a common balcony between two houses? I think that maybe they wanted to build a terrace house, but something went wrong. I mean really? Our windows are so close that we could climb through. Heck you could probably step through it, if you had really long legs. Once when we were arguing again, we both tilted half way out of the window and we could've hugged or kissed. Now I said could've as it was physically possible not that we would've hugged or kissed. Just wanted to make this clear.
"Nope." I said popping the 'p'. I finished eating. "I have to go do homework." I said , getting up walking to my room.
"Young love." My mom sighed. You can not be serious?! Why?..Why would she ever think that? Let me make one thing straight. Me and Dylan will never happen!
"I heard that! And it's so not true!" I yelled, stepping into my room. Before shutting the door I heard mom's laughter.

After doing my homework I invited Sarah over. Well more like she came over by herself.
"So what happened in detention?" She sat down on my bed.
"Dylan and I started arguing and Mr. Shit Stain let us go." I answered.
"God, okay. What did he do now?" She asked.
"Well Mr. Stain made him sit next to me. So Dylan sat next to me and said: 'Hello neighbor.' And then I told him that just because we sit together doesn't mean we have to talk. And then he said: 'I was trying to be nice.' And then I asked: 'Really?' And then he said: 'No.' And then we pretty much just started calling each other names." I said getting it all out. Moving back and forth around my room, raising my hands time to time.
"So, you got all worked up about nothing?" She raised eyebrow.
"No!" I paused. "Well yes. It's just being around him makes me go crazy."
"Sexually?" She laughed.
"Oh My God!" I yelled. "Are you serious?! No!"
"Sorry." She managed to say between her laughter. "You know, I used to think something will happen between you two, but I've seen how you guys fight. And you look like you would totally punch each other in the face." She said, once she was done with laughing.
