🌹1st place 🌹 Dark_Ghostie Dangerous Wishes 90.5/100 I have never read the original book, A Race for His Heart, to start. You did an excellent job of introducing the characters with pictures and descriptions. The characters had a lot of personality and Cassie stabbing Verity was a very unexpected choice. I also liked how it left me wondering what happened next! My only criticism is: How did Cassie get there in the first place? I would've liked a bit more explanation than just "Cassie woke up in her book." Maybe it's all a dream? Maybe she's a "chosen one"? Anyways, this was a very enjoyable short story to read. Thank you. 🌹 2nd place 🌹 Sxlly_Gxrl Timeless _ Prose 87/100 Your poetic sense in this story-like prose was very thought-provoking and in a sense, calming. My favorite was the one about words. The poems put me in a very unique perspective. The reason I gave lower points for plot is because the shorts didn't really have one. The first poem seemed oddly familiar to a piece of class work I had to analyze about summer. Your poetic skills are very good. I look forward to seeing how you grow and improve in more awards contest. Thank you. Judge: SorrelCloud9698
