"shocking." allison remarked, earning a small snicker from y/n, who was sitting on a pool table.

'hope he doesn't hurt himself.' she said as she watched stanley twirl one of the pool sticks.

"well, someone killed our mothers, so we shouldn't exist. but clearly, we do exist, and the universe can't handle it, which is a problem." viktor explained.

"big problem." five sighed before taking a sip from his mug.

stanley did a high kick, "yah!"

"stanley!" diego called out as he pointed a knife towards his son, "now is not the time to be doing karate, okay?"

"yeah, well, mom said i need to practice." stanley excused.

"yeah, well, she's not wrong. you're very bad." diego twirled his knife.

"well, i saved your pathetic ass." stanley rebutted.

y/n sat up straighter and leaned in, "i wanna about hear this."

"okay, hold on. five, so we caused a paradox. what does that mean?" allison asked.

"its hard to say. its all been theoretical until now, but things have started to disappear." five answered.

"what things?" viktor questioned.

"right now? uh-"
"lobsters." y/n cut five off before taking a swig from her beer bottle.

klaus sat up from laying on the floor, "and a shit ton of cows!" he added.

"but i have a feeling this is just the beginning." five said as he watched his girlfriend.

"a feeling? aren't you retired?" allison asked in a teasing manner.

"i want nothing more." five responded.

allison started walking towards him, "you know, you can't keep dragging us all through hell because you have an itch only an apocalypse can scratch and then expect us to deal with the fallout. you're not the boss." she sneered as she towered over the boy.

y/n got off the pool table to rage back at her, placing her drink on the table as she did so. she started to make her way over but klaus grabbed her leg and stopped her.

five looked up at allison, "fine, i'm the messenger, and i'm telling you something terrible is coming."

"then let's go attack the sparrows, get the briefcase, and go home." allison replied.

"this is our home, allison. accept it." five corrected.

stanley bumped into the pool sticks holder, the clattering of the fallen objects gained everyone's attention.

"that's it! i'm telling your mom." diego threatened.

"ooh!" stanley cooed, no fear at all.

"wait, where's lila?" five asked.

"shower. i told her she could stay with us." stanley replied.

five grabbed his mug and signaled with his eyebrows to y/n, making her shake off klaus from her leg before grabbing her beer bottle and following him.

"wait. when did lila get back?" viktor questioned.

"y/nnnn!" klaus whined as his sister walked away.

"five, where are you going?" diego asked as the two teens interlocked hands.
