TCF World: "Cale"

TBOAH World: "Cale."

Earth 2: "Cale".

The fact that the God of Death was somehow involved in their gathering didn't surprise anyone from the TCF World as they were used to the higher beings as well as their shenanigans, but the same couldn't be said about the TBOAH World that had been transported here (a few of them even surprised to meet their loved ones that they had been unable to say goodbye to before their ultimate death).

It was even worse for the Koreans from Earth 1 and Earth 2: it had taken them a while to get accustomed to this new "reality" and only because Kim Rok Soo as well as an older version of Choi Jung Soo intervened on the God's behalf.

(Oh, how the mighty had fallen... The words of a mortal meant more than those of a deity..."

The organization took a while, but with perseverance, they were able to separate the TBOAH and TCF timeline, even though it was a bit difficult due to the tears and the emotions running wild. Cale Henituse had been too busy dealing with the Koreans from Earth 2 (which seemed to greatly amuse her twenty-year-old self in Kim Rok Soo's body).

The most difficult to convince had been Cale: she didn't want to believe she had somehow reincarnated into another world or that she had somehow managed to save the world in her third life. This was the reason why Cale didn't overwhelm her too much – how could she tell her that the only person capable of destroying the White Star once and for all could only be her due to the Thames blood running through her veins?

This Cale didn't know what it meant to have the whole world's responsibility on her shoulders: the harshest thing she had to do before the war started was make sure her reputation as trash persisted, even as she was engaged with the Crown Prince. The fact that Alberu Crossman had still married her even though he had nothing to gain anymore for their union was a complete mystery to her, but she had decided not to lose her mind trying to understand him or the reason behind his actions.

Apparently, the dynamic between the royal couple was frosty enough that everyone from the TCF World kept oggling them from time to time, prompting Cale and Alberu to feel awkward with the situation. While the redhead was wondering if his counterpart had finally gotten his wits back, the quarter dark elf felt his heart break at the sight of Cale's bare hands.

No trace of ring.

No visible proof of their marriage.

For as long as he could remember, Alberu had been madly in love with the beautiful Cale Henituse – he had met her the first time at her mother's funeral and he could still remember how much he had seen himself in her. Just like him, she had been unable to shed a tear in front of the audience, prompting everyone to badmouth her instead of applauding her for her decorum and maturity. What had shocked him the most was the Count's behavior towards his only child: when he had received news of his remarriage barely a year after his former wife's death and apparently, without even telling his only child about the wedding until she had attended it.
