The God of Death hadn't bothered to hide the fact that this wasn't Cale Henituse's first life to the rest of her family, prompting them to be overly curious about what exactly happened to her to make her able to defeat the White Star with so much ru...

She could not think about anything else while food was in front of her. She could not even prevent the admiration that was flowing out of her mouth.
"Ha. It's so delicious."
The deputy butler Hans flinched at the words that came out of Cale's mouth. Cale was sitting alone at the table, with Hans standing next to her. Other than breakfast, Count Henituse's family tended to take care of the other meals freely. [...]
Most of the nobles present thought that was already pretty much better than most of what their own families were used to: after all, most of the time, they barely got the opportunity to interact with their parents if not for important matters related to the wellbeing of their family reputation. It wasn't even per lack of affection, but there genuinely wasn't enough time in some cases: it was still surprising that the Henituses went out of their way to gather at least once a day.
"I have never seen you so...satisfied with your meals," admitted Lee Soo Hyuk. After all, he had taken up the time of fattening her up when he had found her, but it was rare to genuinely see Rok Soo enjoying her food.
She simply shrugged, even though she had noticed how much she seemed to wax poetry about what had been served. "Perhaps the chef is simply talented." Yet, at the back of her mind, Rok Soo knew there must be more to the story than simply a good cook. She noticed a tall and dark haired man visibly preen after the compliment and she gulped when she remembered the fact that Beacrox, an expert torturer, was seemingly pleased with her.
'Now that I think about it.'
Cale put the fork down after suddenly remembering something. Hans started to get nervous, thinking to himself that this was the normal Cale. He was worried because he did not know when that fork may fly toward his face. Cale did not care whether Hans was nervous or not as she got lost in her own thoughts. 'There are a lot of experts hiding as artists or craftsmen.' [...] However, Cale's mind was filled more about the 'strong individuals,' and not these facts. She had even missed lunch as she sat in the study thinking about that all day.
'Why are there so many experts on this stupid land? This isn't the murim.'
"The murim?" inquired Rosalyn, curious about the correlation. As the uncontested reader between the Koreans, Kim Rok Soo took the time to introduce every aspect of the Martial Arts World in Wuxia fiction she had ever encountered.
There were so many hermit experts here like in the murim. That was why Cale came to a conclusion. Do not mess with just anybody. An average looking chef could be a poison expert, and the person working in the repair shop could be someone who viciously killed people with his wires. This was that type of land.
