~Kay~

I've stopped counting the years of how long I've been like this. But I know for certain it's been over 100 years. I out lived my own family long ago and I still feel bad about abandoning them. Though Bree always reminds me that I could have seriously hurt them since the first couple of years are the hardest to control yourself. Sometimes I feel more sorry for her because I had her to teach me everything she had to learn on her own.

Suddenly something knocked me out of my thoughts. I looked around before hearing a voice say, "hello?"

I can recognize it from a mile away. Literally, I have like super sonic hearing so I can actually hear from around 3 miles away but anyways the voice. The voice was my only family I have. So as you guess, it was Bree.

"Kay, you ready?" She asked.

"Yea." I responded then we both took off. It was time to eat so we went off to find a person to feed on. Now let me just say that no we don't kill innocent people. We only kill the 'bad people' like crooks such as people in gangs. People that we know nobody will miss or care about if they did die.

I hate killing people though but I love the feeling that happens when we do. It gives you the perfect high, not like smoking high, but it just relaxes you and you feel satisfied.

By the way, I don't hate Bree for changing me. I mean in the beginning I did but I also hated myself for killing. Now I've grown numb to it so I have to do it. It's either that or grow weak and that's a feeling no one wants. Though I always felt empty inside and it wasn't like we were poor. We had more then enough money because we would take it from the gang members we would kill. The money was used to get hotel rooms to shower and also buy new outfits. We would buy a house but that would be too easy for the elders to find us. So we live life on the run. We mostly cut through the woods so no one can see how fast we are. And just to give you an idea on how fast we are, we ran from New York to California in about an hour.

"What hotel do you want to stay in?" Bree asked me.

"Let's stay t the Hampton," I suggested.

"Okay."

As we walked in, we went to the front desk and got a room. Once we got the keys, we headed upstairs into the amazing room. Bree took her shower first. After about thirty minutes, she walked out in her signature outfit. Nothing too out of the ordinary: a pair of skinny jeans, a plain white t-shirt, her black leather jacket and a red beanie paired with her favorite multicolor air Jordan's.

"Kay, come on. Go shower. We have to leave in a little while to go to Massachusetts," she told me.

"Okay," I responded. She didn't like staying in Mexico because of the bounty hunter. They will track down anyone to claim a reward from the elders.

~Bree~

Kay went to take her shower while I was looking through the room. Suddenly there was a knock on the door. Walking over to the door, I looked out the peep hole.

It was my mom's brother.

A couple of years ago, I ran into him and I knew he was really my uncle because I could smell my mother's blood running through him.

"Can I come in?" He asked.

"Yea, come on in."

Every once in a while he'd come check on us. But I could tell there was something worrying him.

"What's wrong?" I asked. That's when he told me that the elders had found out we were in Mexico and that we needed to leave now. When he told me that my eyes grew wide as I started banging on the bathroom door. But I knew she had already heard. Because when I walked back to the door she was dressed and ready to go. She was in her signature outfit: a white one shoulder ruffle top with an elasticated waist, dark blue Hudson Jeans Collin skinny, red nine west canvas newsboy, paired with her black vans. She was also wearing her glasses because even though with the transformation she had perfect eye sight, her glasses made her look more 'normal' as she'd like to say.
