Chapter 6

*Bree's POV*

After about an hour of running, I had finally found Kay. She was inside a library reading. She would always read to get things off her mind. I was about to walk in when I felt someone behind me.

It was Julian and I had no idea he had followed me.

"You followed me?"

"Well yeah. Why wouldn't I?"

"I don't know just thought you would have stayed with your brother."

"No, I told you I loved you and I would never leave you."

"Yeah, well your family isn't known for keeping promises."

"Well I'm not like them. I mean I used to be but not anymore. You changed me and I'm glad because I was starting to lose my self, but you saved me."

I quickly kissed him as I heard him say those words. "That's all I've ever wanted to hear but if you could excuse me I need to help my sister."

"You don't want me to help?"

"It's not that. I just need to talk to her by myself plus she may think Rob is near if she sees you even if he isn't."

"Ok." He said while kissing me goodbye then going off somewhere.

I walked over to the table where Kay was reading a book before she instantly asked, "what do you want?"

"What do you mean Kay? I'm here to help you and to make sure you are ok."

"Well I'm ok so you can leave now and go run away with Julian. While I, on the other hand, don't have to be a burden to you and him."

"What is that supposed to mean?"

"You know exactly what it means. Ever since you turned me, I was always a burden when we would meet new people and I would let them in so easily."

"You are not a burden. I don't know why you would think that. You are my sister and that's how I've always seen you as and always will see you as."

"Well guess what you're not my sister. You are nothing to me. You are the reason I had to leave my family with my real sister and my boyfriend that actually loved me. But no, instead I'm stuck here with a guy who doesn't know if he loves me enough to stay with me to be alive."

I tried to fight back the tears that appeared from the words she had said. "Kay I know you don't really mean that and I know you are just upset but trust me Rob is just a young vampire that is just as scared as you are. He doesn't know what he wants"

As tears started falling down her face, she came up to me crying as I hugged her "I know I'm sorry I said that I'm just so upset."

"I know you are and we will get through this we always do. Now come on. We will find us a hotel."

As soon as we walked outside, Julian was standing against the wall next to the door "hey I found us a place to stay."

"Ok great let's go," Kay said though I could tell there was some hidden emotions behind her words. I sent her a small smile to remind her I am here for her.

As soon as we got to the hotel, we walked to our room but as soon as we got to our door I could smell someone in the room. I knew exactly who it was and I had to quickly think before telling Kay to go to the movie store next door and rent some movies and get some snacks. Being clueless, she just said ok and was off.

"Why is he in there?" I asked Julian furious.

"I had to bring him back. You know they can't live without each other."

"Yea but you could've told me! What if i wouldn't have noticed and Kay would have saw him? He broke her heart and he should be happy how lucky he is I haven't broke his face yet."

"I get you're upset but he needs to be here."

"No. They are allowed a certain distance before this goes into effect so you need to get rid of him."

"I can't get rid of my brother!"

"Your brother who broke my sister's heart?! What is your plan for when she comes back and she sees him there? Cause if you don't have a plan then my plan will to let her do whatever she wants even if that involves her attacking him. And I won't hesitate to help cause that is my sister."

"I know just...I can't leave him out there."

"Okay well you figure this out. I'm going to go and stall her for a little while longer to give you some extra time."

"Thank you." He said before kissing me. I only nodded in response after kissing him before taking off.

So this was entirely written by bremalik56  . I only added in some certain parts  (last seven paragraphs) and such but truly thank her for this being up because I had no clue where I was going through with this and she was just a total sweetheart to write this and since she is my co-partner on here I want you to see what her work is without me adding in cause she truly is talented.

And yes I understand this is a little on the short side. The future chapters will be a bit longer than this. I promise. But again thank her for this cause it literally is entirely by her. And there will be an update for my other books and this one soon. I promise. <3 :)
