The conference room was filled with nervous energy as people prepared for the meeting. Everyone was stressed and fidgety, trying to get everything in order. Then, suddenly, the room fell silent. The silence was uncomfortable, making everyone even more anxious.
As the meeting commenced, the room fell silent, the air thick with anticipation. Shinyu, the CEO, Changho, the department head, Shin Minwoo, PA to Namjoon, Yn, and her PA, Sara, took their seats, their presence commanding respect. Everyone bowed in unison, acknowledging their authority with a synchronized nod.
Minwoo, the special guest, sat with an air of quiet confidence, his piercing gaze surveying the room as he prepared to assess their progress amidst the security system's crippling issues. As protocol dictated, Shinyu began the meeting, his voice laced with a hint of trepidation.
Shinyu : We're gathered here due to the chief's orders, I don't think our mistake was minor. It's huge. We managed to cover it up without making it worse, but-"
Minwoo cut him off, his voice cold and unbothered, like a knife slicing through the tension.
Minwoo : This happened after an outsider joined us.
His words hung in the air like a challenge, and everyone knew who he was referring to. The room seemed to hold its breath as Minwoo's gaze swept across the faces before him, his expression unreadable. His nonchalance commanded attention, and his tone left no room for debate. But still someone stand against him.
Sara : And who you are mentioning Mr. Shin!?
Minwoo didn't gave his eyes over her like he is ignoring her presence and that just show nothing but a past beef between them. And he continued without any interpretation.
And Yn sat there without any reaction.
Minwoo : Am i right or not Shinyu!?
Shinyu took breath before answering.
Shinyu : I don't know who you're referring to, but that person isn't the cause of our recent security issues.
Minwoo roll his eyes and scoff, unconcerned..
Sara : You're not here to investigate, Mr. Shin. Just evaluate and leave
She said coldly just like how he spoke. That's when His eyes finally locked onto Sara, burning with intensity, his stare screaming hatred. Yn was taken aback by Sara's boldness, and the underlying tension between them was palpable.
Their talk, that literally say something beyond the situation just happened here. And some people know that beef while some people have no idea.Minwoo's gaze flashed with anger, his voice low and menacing,
Minwoo : Who are you to tell me what to do? You think you have the authority to command me?
Sara's eyes didn't waver, her voice steady,
Sara : I have the authority to protect this company's interests, and I won't let you compromise them.
