Chapter 2: The Disappearence of the No. 1 Bounty Hunter: A Hint to The Beyond?

The 9 Highers were eager to see how Killua would find Gon. They placed a tracker on him, to mark his movements. For the past 22 years, only glimpses have been caught of The Shadow. However, they were confused when Killua mysteriously vanished off the map they were looking at. They zoomed out of the planet they circled in on. A clear view of the solar system. Then the Galaxy. Then the Star System. Further and further until they reach The Known Universe. The 9 Highers stare at each other in dismay.

"That's not possible." ONI exclaims.

"Could he have removed the tracker." IMP asks.

"Of course not." PUCK replies "That thing was spiritually bonded to him, only removable by all 9 of our words."

"So how could he have vanished out of the known universe then?" PIXY asks.

"I may have a feeling" KOBOLDE says. "He may have travelled beyond The Belt."

"That is absurd. How could he have achieved such a thing with his feeble mind." ONI replies. The (arguable) leader speaks up.

"It is possible." DEMOS begins. "A transcendental being could have taken him. Besides, Each one of us have been stripped down to only 11.1% of our powers. We are weak and cannot travel to the Beyond in our state."

"But we have been like this for over 14 million centuries! We have only regained 1.1% of our powers back!! At this rate it will take us an eternity to return there!!" Another roared.

"So what do you suppose we do then?" INC inquired.

"We shall just have to wait for him to return to the Universe. He will surely return soon. We just have to wait." DEMOS said grinning and crossing his arms.

"Never return here? What do you mean."

"I shall not divulge that information this has gone far enough. I don't even think I told the others this much. I shall just have to guard my tongue." Killua stopped inquiring. He had to be careful. The Elder was trusting him and offering him help. He shouldn't betray him like that. He'll just have to wait until another time.

"What are we doing now, then?" Killua asked.

"My Spiritual Connection." said the Elder. "Will connect to the man you are trying to find. The Elder closed his eyes.

"Come closer." The Elder said and ushered Killua closer. Killua reluctantly went closer and touched the hand of the Elder.

"Concentrate." The Elder spoke. Killua closed his eyes and felt a wave of aura. He felt a piercing of the air. The Elder was humming and his hand was growing tighter and tighter against Killua's. The Elder suddenly let go.

"I cannot find him."

"What do you mean?!" Killua asked. "How far did you search.

"I searched the Universe. If I couldn't find him, then he must.. no.. he must have allied with a fellow Beyonder. But.."

"What are you trying to say?" Killua asked.

"There is a Bryonder. He calls himself The Power. He is said to have an Avatar in the Universe. I've only heard of him having an avatar. So that means.."

"Shadow is an Avatar and holds the power of a Beyonder." The Elder nodded in confirmation.

"That's why he had such a high bounty! Do y think the Highers know?" Killua asked. The Elder scrunched his finger up into a ball.

"If they find out.. they could try and take his power. It would be a risky move for them, but it may allow them to traverse back into the Beyond." Killua groaned. This was getting way too complicated.
