Several days had passed, Valeria was now laying on her bed, staring at that identification. He was in fact a handsome man, known as "Montague", he also seemed like a very powerful and wealthy man, but Valeria had no clue about him, was he famous? Many questions and thoughts invaded her mind, but what she felt was mostly guilt. She knew she wasn't exactly a pure and saint woman, but she didn't think herself capable of doing such a sin as stealing from another person, and she knew that was a very bad example for her little sibling. She sighted rubbing her forehead with her hand, she would have to keep this in secret, or else Hope would ask her about the sudden amount of money she got out of nowhere.
"Montyyy~ this coat looks so awesome, would you... Buy it for me, love?" A woman said, hugging her fiance's arm, they were both inside of a very expensive and luxurious clothing shop. Everything had a very modern looking style, exactly what the woman was looking for. The male nodded, leading his hand to his pocket to look for his wallet, but he couldn't feel it. He then searched in his coat, but it still didn't appear.
"Yes, just... Give me a second beau... " He said separating from the woman's grip, he searched from his coat to his shoes, then he looked to the floor to make sure it wasn't down there, he frowned, swearing in a low voice, it seemed like if the wallet vanished from his clothes, but why? He couldn't imagine someone stealing from him. Montague was a professional in the art of robbing, he was a master of stealth and carefulness, if someone even approached to him he would've noticed with just feeling the other person's warmness, so he just thought of the only way that seemed reasonable.
"Cher, I... I think my wallet fell when-"
"Oh... Your wallet fell? When? How in hell did you not notice!?" The woman interrupted, being visibly pissed off. She was a person with a very intolerant attitude, being angry whenever things didn't go as she wanted, and Montague couldn't do anything but to please every wish her "love" wanted, it was part of a deal between him and the woman's parents, a deal that would give him many resources such as publicity and money, but in disadvantage, he had to handle the woman's patience.
"How can you call yourself a "stealth master" and you just lost your wallet, which I remind you, was in your coat all the time" She crossed her arms, everyone near them was watching the scene, and Montague felt pissed off as well, not only because of losing his identifications and money, but because of the scolding he was receiving. Montague wasn't known for being a very patient man, he had a pride, a pride that was crushed right now, infront of many strangers, but he couldn't do nothing against her pissed fiance right now.
"Love, I can get you this coat any day throughout the week, but... Right now I have an issue" He said, grabbing her hand roughly to get out of the store and of the middle of the crowd, he started walking to his car, which was parked right at the side of the street, he tried opening the driver's door, but it wouldn't open.
"Now what? Let's get out of here, bête!" The girl yelled, waiting for him to do something. Montague forgot the fact that he needed a keycard to use any features of the car, a card which he always had kept inside his wallet, he sighted closing his eyes, if he thought his day couldn't get any worse, now he had to walk for about 5 kilometers to get to the hotel again, all while trying to calm down the woman with him.
"Oh yeah, that stupid key, exactly what we're searching for!" She yelled, she always used the strategy to make herself the victim, and that way she would convince Montague to do anything. The least he wanted was the wedding to be cancelled, or else his business would have a very serious downfall.
"Cher, it isn't a very long walk, trust me..." Montague said, starting his way to the cold zone, it was a long walk that the woman would never be able to handle, she was going to get tired easily.
After a couple of hours, both of them stood up infront of the hotel main entrance, Montague felt tired, he had a heavy breathing, but not as much as the woman asides him, who almost felt like if she would pass out, she drained all her energy complaining and swearing like if it would fix anything. The valet standing in the entrance tried to look behind them, searching for their transport.
"Monsieur Montague, may I ask where your car is...?" He asked politely, watching how both of them just passed him by without answering.
"You better find that stupid wallet, or else I'm cancelling the wedding!" The woman complained once more, grabbing her sweaty hair with her nails, she started walking to her room, she would take a big sleep to recover her energy.
"Monsieur... You lost your wallet?" One of his servants asked, making Montague more angry than what he already was.
"Yes! You don't have to remind me that, stupide, post announcements! I need to get it back as fast as possible..." He said grabbing a cup of wine from the bar, then he started walking to his bedroom, saying swear after swear until he arrived to his room's doors.
The servant stayed quiet, walking to the hotel's offices, and then approaching one of the employees there.
"Monsieur Montague lost his wallet while he was outside, he wants announcements to get it back, print them as fast as possible..." All the office started working, everyone knew how pissed off Montague could be, and none of them wanted to be reduced to a tiny piece of diamond.
