Chapter 67

Juhee had to blink hard to believe it all. The news her spy brought along with him, had knocked the air out of her lungs, quite literally. She had her connections and powers to grasp upon Hye Jin's every single movements.

Juhee stood silently among the Kims who looked at her with anticipation as soon as she ended the call with her spy.

"Hello."

"Greetings, madam."

"What is it?"

"Your daughter may die quite literally in minutes if not saved right now."

"What the hell?"

"According to my colleagues, the other spys, Dr. Wang has created strange medication, which is probably very,yo know, dangerous...

And apparently the very first victim is going to be your daughter,
Jang Man Wol."

Now was definitely not the time to hesitate and Juhee knew it. So she said it all and the next thing she knew was that they all were in car,driving crazily towards the destination

Sol Ah obviously didn't know how to fight, or maybe how to defend herself with some self-defense moves, she didn't remember learning it either but right now, it was as if her body was adapted to something, as if it knew how to fight.

Sol Ah ducked down and smacked the guy who came for her at his head. She'd find herself giggling for no reason as she went on smacking big guys and dodging their attacks. From the corner of her eye, she could see Hye Jin getting angered every single second passing by. She had been fighting like this for straight 10 minutes.

Maybe she was enjoying too much or maybe she let her gaurd down cause next minute she felt a hand wrapping around her ankle and pulling it, she almost fell face first towards the ground but she brought up her knee to her chest, preventing herself from getting any broken nose or teeth, but however, she fell real bad on her knee.

Wincing slightly as she stood up rubbing her knee and holding her hand 'time-please' sign.

"Dude,it's unfair one against many? Come one, get me some bulky guys-" her protesting was cut down when she recieved a smack on her hand by a metal rod, momentarily making her dizzy.

Sol Ah struggled to stand straight, her vision doubled and showed double images of a single person. She palmed her head to feel a sticky thing, when she bought it down to see, she shrieked loudly seeing blood on her hands.

She looked up, her head felt like someone was drilling inside it, her vision was clear but her body suddenly started to burn due to exhaustion. She fell on her knees.

"Stupid. One smack on your head got you like this, how will you save yourself, now? " she heard Hye Jin speaking and then she laughed loudly.

Next, she kept on receiving the harsh smacks of the iron rod, at one point she felt as if her bones were broken. Suddenly, everything went still around her, or that's what she saw. The world spinned around her until it came halt and she was in an unfamiliar surroundings.

Infront of her, A girl stood, she was wearing full black, a sword glinted in her hands due to the moonlight,her hair was in a high ponytail, she stood up straight.

Infront of her a woman stood, she wore a fancy dress and lots of makeup on her face, she had a sword in her hand too.

They both radiated fierce auras, no fear was felt. Sol Ah stared gapingly at the scene when they started to fight, clashing their swords. She slowly realised the woman fighting was Hye Jin and she was in awe staring at the woman's skills but however the young girl infront of her was no bad, she gave a tough competition. The young girl turned around, revealing her face to Sol Ah, who gasped loudly.

The rod harshly making contact with her cheek brought Sol Ah back to the current and real scene she was facing. Now she lied on the floor,body paining as if she had been run over by numerous large loaded vehicles.

Everything had stilled,she heard clicks  of someone's heels before she felt someone pericing her chest with a rock,when she looked,she was met with the view of a shining red heel, digging into her chest and the owner of the heel being Hye Jin.

Hye Jin,"Now. You will speak truth. Tell me, you have not gotten your memories back,is it not?"

Sol Ah gasped for air. She felt as if her lungs were set on fire but her eyes stared directly at Hye Jin's eyes,those exact eyes she saw in that vivid hallucination.

The hallucination had felt so real that it had gotten her a headache alongwith. Her head throbbed so badly at the mere thought of it and the woman,the woman she saw at the end she could not believe it at all.

Hye Jin,"Speak you bitch."

Sol Ah snapped back after getting distracted again. She smiled at the woman above her then circled her hand on her ankle.

Hye Jin didn't bother,clearly underestimating the injuries girl below her. She was being too proud and egoistic about having her below her feet and ofcourse she has to face the consequences when she felt a tug on her ankle and wrist and the next moment she was below Sol Ah.

Sol Ah,"Heh,being mafia didn't teach you not to underestimate your enemy,did it?"

Hye Jin gritted. Her egoistic self didn't help much.

Sol Ah,"And yes."

Hye Jin made a confused face before realising,the answer to her question.  She was right all along.

Sol Ah,"Doesn't matter now. I might have an idea about that girl everyone talks about and about myself. You tell me,what are you guys hiding,what am I to you?"

Hye Jin,"That's for you to discover. But oh.."

Hye Jin trailed off for a second before smirking.

Hye Jin," Guess you'll find out soon."

Sol Ah's eyebrows furrowed until she felt a grip around her waist and sharp object hovering near her neck.

Dr. Wang," Stormcloud.."

Sol Ah cursed mentally before wriggling under the man's grip but it was impossible,the man was too strong for a doctor.

Thud

"Empress,someone has entered our area!" A man came up, telling as he panted hard.

Hye Jin gritted her teeth hard before facing Dr. Wang

"Inject her,now."
