It was Toby and Luke's birthday, so like promised in Hogwarts they met up and had a few drinks in a pub in Godric's Hollow.
They were technically on a mission - keeping an eye on the Potter's house - but in reality it wasn't too bad as they absolutely loved spending time with each other and catching up.
"I can't believe it's May, those babies are going to be here sooner than we think." Toby huffed
"It's meant to be such an exciting time, Alice has been putting a scrapbook together, of memories from when she was pregnant." Ally told them
"I think that's a beautiful idea, photographs are the best way to remember things," Luke told her
Ally nodded, she loved taking pictures. It was something she had grown to love. She wanted to capture absolutely every moment possible. She wanted to prove that people lived and loved their life, it was why she was so adamant to take pictures with people. Due to this, she had memories of Gideon and Fabian to last her a lifetime.
Sirius walked through the door and Ally stiffened. She hadn't had a chance to speak to him since he got in his mind that Remus was dodgy. She was infuriated and wanted to give her a piece of his mind - especially as she still hadn't received a congratulations for their engagement.
"Be nice." Toby hissed "he's just been irrational, we know Remus isn't a mole but he doesn't so don't be rude to him."
"I won't be rude so long as he sorts his head out." Ally mumbled causing Luke to chuckle
His heart had slowly been healing after Dorcas' passing. It was nice to feel he could breathe and laugh without feeling guilty. He had loved Dorcas, but he knew that it was ok to heal and it was ok to live and love.
"Alright Luke, my Tobes." Sirius greeted pressing a kiss to Toby's forehead "Montague." He spoke rather coldly
"What is your problem?" Ally asked "I have been nothing but nice to you but I won't tolerate disrespect towards me for no reason," she warned
"Ally.." Toby groaned
"No! Why should I be nice when he's acting as if I've sold my soul to Lord Fiddlesticks himself!" She complained
"I'll be nicer when you admit it's your other half leaking information,"
Ally wanted to scream. She wanted to shake Sirius. He was so blinded by his own prejudice, he was blinded by the fact that he wanted to be different from his family when in reality he was no different to them. He was just as prejudiced if not worse, ally wanted to give him a piece of her mind when Luke squeezed her hand.
