Alcyone Montague had been made secret keeper for the Longbottoms. There was nobody else they trusted and there was nobody else she trusted to keep them as safe as she could.
Sirius had been made the Potter's secret keeper. She thought it was a good decision. Recently, however, there was rumours that there was a mole in the order. There had been quite a few specific attacks on the order that hadn't made sense. Death eaters were arriving where they were having meetings, no matter how secret they thought they were being it just wasn't working.
People naturally accused the Montague's, in particular Caspian. However, Sirius was the one to argue Caspian's favour and suggested looking closer to home. Ally didn't understand what that meant but Remus had thought it had meant Sirius was implying he was the mole.
Ally and Toby thought it was silly and they didn't understand what the rising hostility was.. surely you'd just want your closest friends to be safe.
They were currently in a fight with death eaters, ally had been hit with multiple nasty curses and with Frank out of the missions now she had two new fighting partners in Gideon and Fabian. They knew each other like the back of their hands, but she didn't and she was badly letting them down.
"Go hide behind that rock Al," Gideon told her as he struck a curse at the death eater trying to hurt her
"We've got this," Fabian reassured pressing a quick kiss on her forehead
Ally nodded and apparated behind the rock, sending hand curses to the death eaters from afar. She watched closely trying to make sure that she was able to protect the twins when she saw a streak of green head towards Gideon.
"NO!" She screamed
Fabian saw the green streak and pushed his brother out of the way. Two death eaters disapparated, Ally slowly moved towards Gideon, who was now cradling his brother, when the last death eater there shot a curse towards Gideon. Ally saw the light and recognised it to be the curse that she was hit with. She screamed and sent a curse towards the death eater before he disappeared.
She crawled towards Gideon and tried to help.
"Please don't die," she sobbed
Gideon was choking on his blood, she used her hands to take some of his pain away.
"It's okay Ce, I've never known life without Fabs and now I won't have to." He spoke between choking "I'm okay, just... just take the pain away," he breathed with a tear flowing down his cheek
