Ravenwing raced across the moor, relishing in the breeze that ruffled her night-black fur. She felt as if she was flying. Her paws merely skimmed the wind-blown grass underneath as she chased a rabbit. The she-cat veered a sharp turn, cutting her prey off. She pounced, sinking her fangs into the rodent's neck and delivering the killing bite.

With a satisfied purr, the warrior dragged her catch away, head and tail raised slightly out of pride. For a half-ShadowClan cat, she was a good hunter, or so her adopted Clanmates would tell her.

The black-and-white she-cat always enjoyed running the moors on warm, cloudless Greenleaf days such as today. It warmed her fur and made her feel fuzzy inside. She had faint memories of ShadowClan's dark and gloomy territory, that mainly consisted of pine trees and muddy forest floors.

Despite her dark fur that caused disadvantages most of the time, Ravenwing fit in well with the rest of WindClan, aside from the slight scorn she'd still receive for being a Half-Clan cat.

As she pulled her catch along, a new scent bathed her tongue. The warrior's pelt bristled. It was a very fresh scent, and it was that of a cat. An intruder!

Alarmed, the she-cat dropped the rabbit and followed the stench. She was lead to a small, pale cream-and-brown tom. The intruder looking around cluelessly, and appeared to be harmless.

Ravenwing noiselessly crept towards him, her green eyes narrowed to slits. The black cat would not allow this cat to simply roam around in her territory. He'd scare all the prey away!

She pounced onto him, pinning the tom to the ground with ease. Her tail lashed angrily as she stared down at him with a fire in her eyes.

The intruder let out a cry of fear and shock, blue eyes wide with alarm. "Wh-who are you?" he asked, apprehensive.

"I should be asking you that question, intruder!" the WindClan warrior hissed.

It seemed to terrorize the poor tom even more. "I-I'm Stormy," the tom murmured. His voice quivered nervously.

She narrowed her eyes suspiciously, stepping off the pale cat. "What are you doing here?" Ravenwing demanded.

Stormy hesitantly got to his paws, keeping low to the ground. "I'm a l-loner... I didn't know this was y-your territory!"

The black-and-white she-cat's tail lashed behind her as she decided wether to chase him away, or take him to Greystar. She shook her head. The leader would be merciless against Stormy.

"You have to leave, Storm. It isn't safe around here," Ravenwing meowed, nudging him away. Luckily, the borders to ThunderClan were not far away.

"Wh-why?" he asked nervously, looking at her with confused blue eyes.

The WindClan warrior sighed in annoyance. "You'll get killed without a chance to explain, if you don't. Now, go."

Storm nodded weakly. "But, who are you?" the tom murmured.

"Ravenwing, now go," she huffed, pushing Storm away.

The loner bounded away, shooting her one last glance before disappearing across the horizon. Ravenwing sat there, watching him leave. She hoped the cat would have safe travels. But would this be the last time they would meet?
