Alyx swung her leg off her bike, popping the stand down and pulling her helmet off her head, letting her crimson hair fall past her shoulders. She parked her bike at the back of Nabi and Dalrae's townhouse, the two girls were away for the weekend, watching some baseball team that Dalrae was obsessed with and wouldn't be back until tomorrow.

Knowing that the two were going to be back tomorrow, Alyx was dropping off Nabi's phone charge, seeing as they and Dalrae all had android phones. Alyx's charger had completely stopped working a couple days ago and had borrowed Nabi's.

Alyx had made her way to the back door, lifting the third potted plant on the left to grab the spare key. Her hand went to touch the lock, only to find it already pushed ajar. Alyx pocketed the key, grabbing a baseball bat that was sat beside their small barbeque, slipping in through the busted door.

Stepping inside, she felt and heard her boots crackle on the shatter glass. Entering the kitchen from the back door, she noticed the place a mess, ceramic plates were smashed along the counter and floor. Cupboard doors where askew, mugs and glass cups had been ripped from the cabinets, leaving remnants over the floor.

Whoever broke in, was most certainly looking for something. Was it Nabi or Dalrae? Or were they after something else?"

Alyx continued into the living room, moving from broken glass and ceramic to fluff and feathers from the couch that had been ripped to shreds. The TV had a web of colours bleeding through each other, the tv itself laying on the floor instead of its usual fixed position on the wall.

Once again, drawers had been pulled from the sockets, papers and trinkets littered on the carpet.

The more Alyx moved around the house, the most she smelt a cologne, a smell she was familiar with, yet she knew it was in the men's line of smells. She realised that the break in had only just happened considering the smell was so strong.

Alyx hurried as nimble as she could up the stairs, bat in one hand. She made her way to Dalrae's room, the door missing the handle from being kicked in. Slowly opening the door, she peaked around the corner, noticing the younger girl's room to be overturn just like the rest of the house.

She took a quick look around the room, seeing if there was anything valuable taken. She noticed her wardrobe open, and a small box opened, she moved the box with the tip of her boot, noticing the contents had been taken.

Alyx always told her members to use a safe when storing belongings they don't to be lost or anyone finding them. Either use a safe or find a very good hiding spot... not an empty shoe box at the bottom of the wardrobe.

Quickly leaving Dalrae's room, she made her way to Nabi's expecting it be as trashed as the other. The older girls door was wide open, the door's integrity still intact, unlike Rae's. The room was surprisingly clean, the sheets were slightly muddled, her shelves with book and trinkets were in the same spot as they normally were.

She placed the bat down on the bed, looking around the room, the intruder mustn't of had enough time before Alyx showed up. She made her was to the wardrobe, noticing the door to the walk in had been opened.

The carpet had been ripped up at the corner of the small space, chisel marks at the boards underneath. Alyx was hoping her presence interrupted them, she didn't want to think anything else. Alyx made her way quickly back down the stairs, texting Mark to meet her at her apartment, needing to tell him about the break in. She would talk to the girls after Mark.

While her mind was running over every possibility of who this might have been, a sound from downstairs disturbed her. The sound of someone entering the house, caused Alyx to act quickly, she exits the bedroom, moving back down the hallway, learning against the wall out of sight.

The house was pitch black, only a tiny bit of moonlight shine through a curtain that would occasionally shift with the slight breeze. She positioned herself far enough behind the wall that she wouldn't be seen, while still being able to observe.

The male wore dark clothing, making him blend into the shadows, she didn't have enough time to try and observe the man before the glint of a gun shone in his hands.

He held it with a firm grip, keeping it up, in case he needed to use it. Alyx wasn't sure if it was the intruder from before or someone new coming to finished what someone else started.

She waited, hiding completely behind the wall, relying on sound to notify her when the man was close enough. His cologne hit her nose first, the smell of cedarwood and a tinge of lavender felt oddly familiar to her, but she couldn't put her finger on it.

Alyx watched as the gun started to move toward her, the man walking to check the hallway. As the man's shoulders were almost next to the girl, she acted quickly, using one hand to push the gun away and using her foot to sweep the man's legs out from underneath him.

He grunted as his back hit the ground, Alyx stepped over him, walking towards his gun, intending to use it on him after getting the information she needed. The unknown man recovered quicker than she had anticipated, he grabbed one of her ankles, taking her down to the ground.

Alyx fell on her stomach, realising she was closer the weapon she reached out, her fingers grazing the cold metal. The man yanked on her ankle, pulling her closer to him, he leaned over the top of her, his chest grazing on her back, reaching forward, also trying to take the gun.

She used their close position to her advantage, throwing her head back and colliding it with the man's nose. He groaned, rolling off the girl and wiping the blood that leaked from his nose. Alyx managed to grab the gun and get to her feet, turning to face the man.

He recovered quickly, standing with another wipe of his nose. He noticed the glint of the gun pointed directly at him and acted quickly, running towards the girl as quick as he could and colliding his should with her stomach.

He lifted her off the ground with his sports like tackle, hands on her hips as he pushed her back into the living room. His changed his hand placement to her thighs, digging his shoulder in and lifting her completely.

She squirmed in the air, wondering what the hell he was doing. The buff man through her down, her back landing on the wooden coffee table, the gun coming loose from her grip as she felt immense pain run through her back.

"That was supposed to break." She groaned; her breath being slammed out of lungs. "It always breaks in the movies, why the fuck didn't it break?"

She rolled onto the floor with a thud, slowly regaining her breath. The unknown man became dizzy, Alyx could tell by the slight sway to his movement. She watched as he placed the heel on his hand into his eye socket, trying to fight the dizziness off.

Alyx stood, as quick as she could, kicking out his legs from beneath him. He started to reach for the gun, only to have Alyx's foot, push down slightly on his chest. The shadows of the late night were so harsh that she still couldn't get a clear look at the man's face.

"Who do you work for?" She asks menacingly, wanting to find out why someone was in a King's house and what they were trying to find.

Red and blue lights caught her attention, a warning siren sounded from outside, causing the girl to release her grip on the man and slipping back out the door. She decided to leave her bike in the girls back driveway, jumping the fence and sneaking away on foot.

After a 20-minute walk, Alyx found herself at Neo Knights, walking straight inside and find Mark in his office. "We need to talk."
