Mark was no medic, in fact, no one in the King's were versed in medicine. Alyx knew the basics, taking first aid classes when she was in high school, still living with her father back on Canada. She sat on the edge of Mark's desk, her shirt slightly pulled to the side, revealing a deep bruise already forming on her back.
She hid her wince as Mark poked around the purplish skin, the bruise blending into her intricate tattoo. He poked too hard, right in the centre, causing his twin sister to pull away and punch his arm in retaliation. "That hurt, asshole."
Mark chuckled, not meaning to hurt her but glad she still had the bad mouth that she's had since she was younger. "Sorry, A."
Alyx moves her shirt back to original position. "What do you think we should do?" She asks. The girl explained everything that happened while Mark was examining her back, she was a quick talker, so it didn't take too long.
Mark was happy that Alyx was coming to him, it showed she still trusted him after their conversation yesterday. After thinking it over for a while, he understood why Alyx would never want to deal in drugs. He was happy with only firearm dealing and that's the way it would stay.
"Do you think they knew the girls weren't going to be there? Or do you think they just got lucky?" Mark asks, wanting to know the finer details before they move forward with what they should do.
"There's a chance they just got lucky, but what if they knew?" Alyx asks her brother, not wanting to really say what she was thinking.
"Alyx," Mark grabs her attention, knowing what she was meaning. "Do you really think that..."
Mark trails off, noticing Alyx silently placing her index finger to her lips. She nods her head, and both of the twins make their way outside, walking a bit down the street before speaking again. "What if we have a mole?" She asks.
"Don't you think you're being too paranoid?" Mark asks flicking her head. "They could have just been following them and waiting until their left, doesn't mean we have a mole."
Alyx rolls her eyes. "How did said person know who they were? I made sure that we keep a low profile and that no one knows our true identities."
Mark stopped walking. "What if a rival gang leaked our information?"
"There's only one rival that knows our true identities and that only because you dated her." Alyx says, referring to Cobra.
"I'll look into it, see what I can find. For the meantime, the girls can stay at the mansion until we figure out what to do about their place." Mark says, wrapping his arm around Alyx's shoulder, trying his hardest not to learn on her bruise.
"Enough of that, tell me more about that hacker." Alyx asks as they start to walk back in the direction of Neo Knights.
"His name is Na Jaemin." Mark starts. "He's known as a mercenary, an assassin if you will - looks more like a wannabe in need of the right people around him."
Alyx pauses. "Are you saying you want him to be a part of the Kings?"
Mark hesitates, not sure how his older sister was going to take it. "Yeah, we're an old number at the moment, he has some strengths that could pick up where we lack, he could be our missing piece."
