Chapter 1: Welcome to my awesome life
"Lauwa, you gotta get up! It's the fiwst day of school! you'we in sixth gwade!" Screamed my annoying brother, Adam. I groaned and turned over in my comfy twin sized bed. Of course, after I did that, he jumped on top of me, punching me with his small fists.
"Get up Lauwa! Mommy will yell at you!"He screamed while jamming his fists in my ribs. In one swift move, I put my palm against his jaw and pushed him off of me.
"How many times have I told you NOT to do that?!" I snapped at the seven year old who was now starting to cry on my rainbow rug. The crying soon turned to yelling. I rolled my eyes and started picking out my clothes. I quickly plucked out a short sleeve neon green top with teal shorts, a teal belt to go on top of the shirt, and sandals out of my closet and put them on. The whole time my brother was bawling aimlessly.
Of course, after five minutes of his ear piercing yells, my mom had to come in and poke her nose into my business. Her black hair was a mess, she still had her pajamas on, and her tan face was twisted in rage. Not good.
"Laura, can you stop making your brother cry!?" My mom shouted, picking my brother up. He laid his head on my mother's shoulder and gave me an evil look at the same time. That little demon!
"Sorry to interrupt your beauty sleep, your highness," I mumbled, which just made my mom angrier.
"Phone. Now," she said forcefully, thrusting out a manicured hand. I huffed and placed my iPhone in her hand. My mom pocketed it and swiftly exited my room without a glance back.
I rolled my eyes and went to the bathroom, where I brushed my puffy brown hair and put into a ponytail. I also put some lip gloss on and grabbed my backpack and ran to the kitchen. I quickly ate a granola bar and exited the house, loudly banging the door closed to maintain my presence.
I walked quickly to my bus stop, fallen leaves crunching beneath my feet. As I got there, I saw that the only other person there was a seventh grader named Frankie. He thought he had "swag" and wore a tee shirt, jeans that were so low that I could see his underwear, and a pair of Jordans. He dyed his hair black. How. Lame. He looked at me up and down, snickering.
"So, little Laura, are you excited about middle school?" He teased, pinching my cheek. I slapped his hand away and glared at him.
"Ooh, someone's feisty. You know I like that," he said attempting to put his arm around my shoulder. Once again, I slapped it away.
"Can you leave me alone, you imbecile?" I half yelled, moving away from him. He chuckled, enjoying my discomfort. Bastard. I saw the bus round the corner. Thank. God.
"I can sue you for harassment!" I exclaimed. He snickered.
"Sure, babe, sure," he said, stepping onto the bus as it pulled up. I rolled my eyes and stepped on after him. If middle school is going to be like this, I'm toast.
A/N: hope u like it! My cousin, @Personintheworld, helped me :)
