A day ago, a fight happened between Katsuya and four guys where Katsuya got hit in the face. He did clobber those guys and won the fight, but now he thinks that his luck is bad, all because of that fight. Katsuya told me about it (after I asked him about the bruise on his face), and I knew that since he fought four guys, getting hit just once is lucky. Then an electrical worker dropped a piece of what he was working on, and it landed right in front of us. The worker apologized for what happened, and Katsuya knew that more bad luck was on the way.

People at school were talking about this one guy in Class 1-A who could see the future, and that guy was Kokurano Futama. Almost all the girls go to see him and get to know what their future would look like. And that's what Katsuya wanted to do. He wanted to know what his future would look like. He even wanted me and Anzu to come along. So we went with him.

By the time we got to the room where Kokurano was, there were a lot of girls there. Damn! Look at all these girls watching. It's not even cool for a guy to get his fortune read! thought Katsuya. Alright! It's time to bluff!! He then asked Anzu why she would drag him to see Kokurano.

"What?!" asked Anzu. “You dragged me here!"

"Be quiet over there!!" shouted one of Kokorano's assistants.

"Sorry," I said, even though I wasn't the one who was loud.

Anzu then turned to Katsuya "Man, you're such an idiot!" she said.

"What?!" asked Katsuya.

"Lord Kokurano is meditating to raise his mind’s awareness!" said the assistant. "All your negative energy is blocking his flow of power! If you want to be loud, then leave!"

"Okay! I've got it!" said Kokurano to a girl. "As long as you're in good health, you'll live a long life! Heed my words!"

"Yes, Lord Kokurano!" said the girl. "I'll make sure to eat plenty of healthy food, get lots of exercise, and get plenty of sleep. Thanks, Lord Kokurano!"

"Not a problem, miss," said Kokurano. "Next in line!"

Katsuya then turned to Anzu. "Hey Anzu!" he said. "Go get your fortune told!"

"Why me?!" asked Anzu.

Just then, the ground shook. It was an earthquake! But it didn't last long, for it stopped just as fast as it started.

Kokurano looked at Katsuya. "Hey, you there!" he said.

"Who me?" asked Katsuya.

"Yes you," said Kokurano. "You just said 'Get your fortune told,' now didn't you? I'll tell you right now that I'm not a fortune teller! I know that things like Palmistry, fortune-telling, chi reading, Feng Shui, and astrology just attempt to predict the future, but those are just based on statistics. They just calculate the odds and are methods of the past. My power is Premonition! That’s the ability to see the future!"

"Are you sure?" asked Katsuya.

"You seriously don't believe me? I'll show you some proof. My powers had given me a vision of the future earlier today. I wrote it down on this piece of paper." Kokurano then reached into his cloak, and pulled out a piece of paper with something written on it.
