Ian was sitting upstairs, holding his drink, deep in thought. He believed that there was no chance at all that Cayden would come upstairs. Ian was overwhelmed with emotions because he had to confess his feelings to Cayden today. Suddenly, he heard footsteps approaching. Ian became anxious, wondering who it could be, until he recognized the sound of Cayden's footsteps. Cayden walked in and Ian greeted him with a "Hey." Cayden responded with a "Hey" as well. Concerned, Ian asked Cayden if he was okay. Cayden inquired about what was bothering Ian. With a heavy heart, Ian confessed, "There's something I have to tell you, Cayden. I really like you. I've liked you ever since we met at that bar." Cayden turns to me and confesses that he has never opened up about his emotions to anyone before. Curious, I inquire further, asking Cayden what he means by this. Cayden responds, saying that he has feelings for me but has never had the opportunity to express them until now. Encouragingly, I assure Cayden that he can now confide in me. A smile of contentment spreads across Cayden's face as he hears my words. Concerned, I notice that Cayden doesn't seem well and ask if he is alright. Cayden explains that he is simply tired and hasn't been sleeping well. In a caring gesture, I suggest that Cayden should rest and invite him to lie down. Cayden accepts my offer and settles down next to me. As Cayden closes his eyes, I gently stroke his hair, providing him with comfort and support. Ian made the choice to lie down beside Cayden and wrap his arm around him, which brought a smile to Cayden's face. Ian felt a flutter of excitement in his stomach as he saw Cayden's smile, and it made him smile as well. Ian couldn't help but smile at how adorable Cayden looked while sleeping; he slept peacefully like a baby. To show his support, Ian continued to comfort Cayden by rubbing his back and gently stroking his hair. Although Ian thought about drifting off to sleep, he couldn't due to the overwhelming sensation of butterflies fluttering inside his belly. Therefore, he decided to stay awake instead of succumbing to sleep. Ian stood up to have a sip of his drink before leaving Cayden alone, as Cayden was fast asleep. This made Ian happy because Cayden could finally get some rest. Suddenly, Ian heard a knock on the door and upon opening it, he found Katie standing there.

Ian: Hey, what's going on?

Katie: Cheese and Crackers?

Ian: Uh, yeah, sure.

Katie: Does Cayden want any?

Ian: Uh, no, he's sleeping.

Katie: Oh, okay.

Ian: Thanks a lot, Katie.

Katie: No problem; go get 'em, Tiger.

Ian: I already have.

Both Katie and Ian smiled.

Katie departed and Ian closed the door behind her. As he turned around, he noticed that Cayden was awake and visibly frightened. Ian hurried to Cayden's side and offered him comfort.

"It's alright, Cayden. I'm here for you. Let it out, bug. Let it out," Ian reassured him.

Cayden hesitated, shaking his head.

"No," he replied.

"It's okay, bug. It's okay," Ian repeated, trying to calm him down.

Cayden finally lifted his face from Ian's shirt and hunched over, clutching his stomach. Concerned, Ian looked at him and asked, "What's wrong, bug?"

"My belly hurts," Cayden replied.

"Are you hungry?" Ian inquired.

Cayden nodded in response.

Glancing at his phone, which showed the time as 7:45, Ian turned to Cayden and said, "Watch my drink. I'll be right back."

Cayden nodded again.

Ian left the room and went downstairs to find Henry.

"How did it go, Ian?" Henry asked.

"It went well. We both confessed our feelings, but I'm not sure what will happen next. Do you have that cheese and crackers platter?" Ian replied.

"Yeah, why?" Henry questioned.

"It's for Cayden. He has a tummyache and he's hungry," Ian explained.

Henry prepared a plate with cheese and crackers and handed it to Ian.

"Here you go," Henry said.

"Thanks, man. I think we're going to leave now," Ian responded.

"Alright, take care, man," Henry bid farewell.

"You too, man," Ian replied.

Ian returned upstairs to find Cayden still sitting in pain.

"Here, eat up. We're going to leave, okay?" Ian offered, handing the plate to Cayden.

Cayden nodded as Ian finished his drink and disposed of the cup.

"Let's go," Ian said.

Ian and Cayden left the house party and headed to Ian's house.

"Go to the couch, bug. I'll be right there," Ian instructed.

Cayden nodded and went straight to the couch.

Ian quickly went upstairs to change his clothes and then proceeded to the bathroom to retrieve a washcloth, which he dampened with cold water. After that, he returned downstairs to find Cayden shirtless. Ian gently placed the cold washcloth on Cayden's eyes to alleviate the discomfort he was experiencing. Ian then plugged in his phone and settled down on the couch. Eventually, he made the decision to cuddle with Cayden, and the two boys eventually drifted off to sleep.
