Ryuji and Stelle saw Arlan talking to himself so they decided to check up on him
Arlan: ...If only I'd caught the Antimatter Legion sooner...
Stelle: How are you feeling?
This brought Arlan out of his own thoughts
Arlan: I'm fine, this pain is nothing, really. I'm used to it. In fact, I should be proud of it. It's a reminder of being able to protect everyone
He quickly cleared his throat before giving them a pleading look
Arlan: Ahem, but don't tell Lead Researcher Asta what I just said
Ryuji chuckled a bit
Ryuji: Our lips are sealed
Arlan: Thank you, Ryuji and thank you for asking Stelle
Stelle: Don't mention it
Ryuji: How's the space station?
Arlan pauses before looking a bit somber
Arlan: There were a few researchers who didn't make it...
This news caused Ryuji to frown in anger while Stelle had a look of shock on her face
Ryuji: (If only I had shown up sooner...)
Arlan noticing there moods decided to replace his frown with a smile
Arlan: The rest are fine, Mostly minor injuries. But I'm worried about their mental states
After hear this, Ryuji and Stelle both had a look of relief knowing that most researchers were safe
Arlan: Most of them came to the space station because they admired Madam Herta. But now they can't reach her or even their own families. I just hope they can all survive this crisis
Stelle wanting to change the subject, looked around and spotted Asta
Stelle: What's Asta like?
Arlan: My first impression was that she was the daughter of a rich family — owners of a big company
Arlan: She was kind to me though. When she went to the space station, I followed her
He gave a small smile at the end before finishing
Arlan: I don't know much about science, but I'm glad to be able to protect people in pursuit of their research
Ryuji: I see, well I'm glad to see you're doing ok
Stelle: We'll leave you to get some rest
Arlan gave them a nod
Arlan: I hope all of this chaos will end soon
Just before the two of them left, Arlan remembered something
Arlan: Hold on!
The two turned back to Arlan
Ryuji: What's up?
Arlan: Here, take these
They were given three Light Cones (Arrows, Amber, and Chorus)
Ryuji: These are nice... although I doubt I can use them
Arlan: That's fine, see if Dan Heng and March can put them to use
The two nodded as they left. Soon afterwards, they both noticed a researcher who looked troubled
