After five incredibly boring classes, schools finally over, but since Alex still has one lesson left and Rose is doing something with her parents, I go home by myself.
When I get home I immediately go up to my room to leave my bag before going downstairs to the kitchen to make some sandwiches. I start the radio and "Waiting For A Star To Fall" by Boy Meets Girl starts playing through the speakers, I start to sing along and think back to when it first came out...

Me, Alex and our parents are in the backyard, "Waiting For A Star To Fall" is playing through the radio from where our parents are sitting. Dad's reading the newspaper and mom a book while me and Alex are singing along and dancing to the song.
"How are you so good at dancing? I'm jealous." Alex says, taking my hand and spinning me around once.
"Oh, I don't know maybe because I took dancing classes." I tell him, he scoffs while letting go off my hand, I laugh softly and look at our parents. They seem so peaceful sitting and reading in the sun, they almost seem like they're without a worry in the world.Me and Alex continue to dance and jump around to the song until it was over and the news starts on the radio, Alex come over to me and sit down beside me.
"When are you going to tell them?" I ask, looking at our parents then turning my head to look at him. He sighs and looks down at the ground.
"I don't know." he says, playing with his fingers. "When I get the confidence, I guess?"
"There's still time, you don't have to tell them yet. Take the time you need, whether its in a week, two months or a year, it really doesn't matter. What matters is that your comfortable enough to tell them" I tell him in a soothing tone, he stops playing with his fingers and looks up at me.
"Thank you." he says quietly.
"I'm always here." I say as I lean on his shoulder.* • - ~ * ~ - • - ~ * ~ - • *
I come back to my senses as the front door opens, I look down at my sandwiches and start putting peanut butter on them. I can hear the guys laughing and talking back and forth as they make their way upstairs to Alex's room, I finish my sandwiches and bring them upstairs to my room.
"What did you make?"
I shriek and do a small jump as well as put my free hand on my heart, I look up and see Luke standing beside my bedroom door. Of course it's Luke.
"God dammit Luke, you scared the shit outta me." I snap at him and walk past him into my bedroom.
" Sorry, thought you saw me" he says unbothered and walks in after me, I turn around to face him after placing my food on my desk, behind him I can see the others walking downstairs. "Anyway, what did you make?" I move my eyes to look at his, gosh his eyes are beautiful. I could stare at them forever.
"Two peanut butter sandwiches, if you want some you can make them yourself down stairs where you're friends are" I tell him and lean on my desk, he tilts his head slightly.
"Oh, you want me to leave?"
"Yes I would like to eat my food in peace"
"What if I don't want to leave?"
"What, your not gonna eat with your friends?"
"I'm not that hungry anyway soo" he says pushing me slightly to the side, he walks over to my bed and lays down.
I turn around dumbfounded and look at him, he's laying on his chest with his head on his hands and he's looking out the window on the other side of the room.
"Your just gonna watch me eat or what?" I say closing my door and walking over to sit down at my desk, I take a bite of one of the sandwiches and turn around to him.
"I guess" he says, turning his head to look at me. "Unless you have something I can do"
"I would appreciate it if you would leave"
"Oh really?"
"Yes really"
"Then why'd you close the door?"
