The next day in school I tell Rose everything, like everything. From Luke scaring me, to me and the boys playing together, to me and Luke writing the song.
She listens patiently waiting for me to finish.
"You- he- I mean- what-" she tries when I finish talking and I just laugh.
"I know, but hey it's a good thing right?"
"Obviously! I mean the fact that he didn't care that you closed the door" she exclaims, earning some looks from people in the hallway, she grabs my arm and starts walking to our class.
"So, when are you meeting him next?" She looks at me.
"I don't know, but I don't think Alex will be home for a while today and neither will him" her face drops but then lights up again.
"Oo then we can hang out!" She turns to me and I nod smiling.
"Definitely, I need to do some homework tho but maybe you can help me?" she nods and walk into class before me, I follow her and sit down next to her at the back of class by the window, we talk a bit longer before the teacher starts the lesson.
"Alright, settle down everyone! Today's topic is about the human genetics and..."

After a few lessons it's lunch, but me and Rose don't have lunch together so I walk into the cafeteria by myself and get some food. More precisely some pizza, a drink and an apple, I go and sit down at an empty table and just a few minutes later Alex walks over and sits down.
"Where's Rose?" he asks when he sits down.
"We don't have lunch together today" I take a sip out of my drink and look at him. "Where's your friends?"
"Bobby's hanging out with Rose and Reggie and Luke... comes here" his face turns into a grin and he looks behind me, I turn around and come face to face with Luke who's standing incredibly close to me.
I jump almost choking on my drink, he chuckles and walks around me to sit down next to me.
"You okay?" Reggie laughs as I cough, hitting my chest, I throw him a fake smile as he takes a bite of his pizza.
"Yeah definitely, it's not like I almost died" I glare at Luke who just laughs.
"Oh come on Julianna it was funny" Alex jokes standing up to go get some food, I finish my pizza just when Luke takes his first bite and Alex comes back shortly.
"It wasn't funny at all" I glare at him as he sits down in front of me, he looks at me grinning.
"You should've known that I would stand right behind you" Luke chimes in taking a new bite of his pizza, I look over at him.
"How would anyone know that you would stand so fucking close?" I snap standing up, Luke chuckles and looks at me.
"Hey where you going? Reggie asks.
"I've unfortunately got class so, I'll see you tonight Alex" I grab my plate and glass.
"Yeah see ya'" he answers before starting to talk to Reggie and Luke, I walk away and into my next class.

After school Rose follows me home and we sit down in the living room couch, starting the newer tv show "FRIENDS" along with hamburgers and drinks.
We finish eating pretty quickly, I lean back on the couch and look over at her.
"So, what should we do?"
"I don't know, we could play a game?" she suggests and leans back on the couch as well.
"Oo, how about a card game?" she nods excitedly and we both stand up, she takes our plates out to the kitchen while I go up and get a deck, I go back downstairs and sit down opposite of her by the dining table.
"What do you wanna play?" I ask and starts shuffling the cards.
"Maja?" she crosses her arms and lean on the table.
"Sounds good, I'm gonna beat you so hard tho"
she chuckles and nods, I give both her and I six cards each and I place the rest of the deck on the table, and we begin playing.

"No!" I exclaim when I get Queen of spades and have to pick it up, she laughs and gives me another card which I fortunately can turn.
"How many cards you got?" I ask, looking at my own cards.
"Two" I look up at her.
"Your kidding?" she shakes her head and laughs, I groan and give her one card which she is able to turn and win the game.
"Yes!" she laughs again. "You said you were gonna beat me?" she teases, I stick my tongue out to her and gather all of the cards and starts shuffling them again.
"Shut up, I want a rematch" I give her six cards, as well as six to myself, then I lay the rest of the deck on the table.
We play two more times and I win both of them, I stand up making the chair fall.
"Ha! I won twice!" I jokingly point at her, feeling incredibly proud of myself of winning over her. She scoffs and gathers the cards.
"I would've won if you didn't insist on playing three times"
"I still won" I reach back to get the chair. "Two outta three baby"

A/N
okay, I feel like this is unacceptable of me to not upload for almost a month and I'm terribly sorry about that😭🙏🏻
But I will also say that school for me ends tomorrow so I'll do my best to upload more during summer break.
I have an idea set in my head already for the next chapter and this chapter was mostly a filler chapter I suppose😀
But, next chapter... let's just say a bit more will happen *wink, wink* and I'll do my best of getting it out as soon as possible!🫶🏻
