In the evening Helen sat at the dinner table at her usual place next to Remus. She was in a good mood tonight. Small smile played on her lips. She couldn't wait for tomorrow when her first working day begins.
"Helen, I'll pick you up at eight" Remus said looking at the girl.Severus, who was sitting next to them, unvoluntary heard what he said. His brown eyes opened wide in surprise.
'What the hell? She has just come here and already goes on a date' he thought.
"Great, Remus" Helen replied with a smile.
She began eating her shepperd's pie with appetite.
Severus frowned looking at miss Green. For no reason he felt extremely irritated now.
'How quick is she. Already friends with Lupin...or more than friends...But he's married. Does she know that?' he thought 'Whatever. Why do I think about it at all?'
Helen felt professor's gaze and looked at him. It made her feel uncomfortable like she was doing something wrong.
'Why does he look at me like that?' she thought 'what a weird man.'
"Anything wrong?" Helen asked arching her eyebrow and trying to sound confident.
Severus felt a bit confused being caught staring but he didn't show that. He crossed his arms on his chest and frowned, trying to look cold as usual.
"No. Why?" he asked pretending he didn't understand anything.
"Nothing" Helen replied and looked away.
This evening she wasn't in the mood for arguing. So she didn't ask any more questions. She decided to ignore the eccentric potions master.
Severus kept drilling the young witch with his eyes. She pretended she didn't notice. Though she felt extremely irritated by this.
