I feel insanely bad. This one shot features the amazing Greenninjagal so Cabrina shippers gather 'round and have your heart blown to bits by the land mines Connor set up.
~ATH
________Connor didn't mean to put the land mines on the wrong hill, but honestly he didn't think it was his fault. Sure his brother told him that he had to put land mines on the bigger of the two hills, but he got distracted.
He was walking up to the hill, a red wagon full of blinking land mines trailing behind him leaving dent marks in the grass. His armor was half on, and his sword had been messily strapped to his side. A small black pack on his side held dozens of Greek Fire, fire crackers that he made long ago. And even if he couldn't stand the sight of them, Travis had a point that they were decent weapons.
A flower crown had been messily places on his head by a girl from the Athena cabin. She's been weaving it when he passed last afternoon. and her grey eyes lit up when she saw him pass, and dashed over and placed it on his head. And the minute she'd done so her black glasses glinted and she seemed to fade away before his eyes.
A cold wind nearly knocked it off his head and Connor jerked weirdly as a chill went up his spine. Looking up at the hills, a dark figure suddenly stood, all image blocked out by the sun behind them.
Curious, Connor wheeled his land mines up the wrong hill with much difficulty; nearly giving himself a heart attack as one almost fell out.
When he got to the top however, he was in for a surprise. She was standing, staring in the opposite direction unblinking. She looked the same as when he last saw her three months ago, of course she would never change.
A long glittering scaled green and bronze cloak was fastnened and flows off her shoulders to her ankles. Her dark hair had been tucked behind her ears and her green streaked was faded. Her eyes were closed but Connor knew that when she opened them her annoyingly pretty green eyes would be there.
Her quiver was hanging from her waist and her bow grilled loosely in her hand. And although this observation seemed to break his heart, he saw the silver glow that hung around her.
The only thing new was the dark green cloth bag that slung over her shoulders, and opened to a bag of boney knitting needles, and dozens of dull and bright; colorful and colorless; string.
Sabrina Green still hadn't noticed him and Connor hated the fact that his heart still speed up around her. That his stomach felt weird. And that his face felt hot around the immortal mortal.
She seemed to sense him for her eyes shot opens and she turned around. She seemed to reach for the bag vs. her bow, which seemed odd as if he was a monster that wouldn't be her best bet. Seeing him she seemed to sag a bit, her eyes widened and she cursed under her breath and Connor managed to hear some of what she said.
"Can't believe her... Should've known better... Twila is so gonna get it... he's even wearing her dam flower crown she was making last night..."
Connor reached up, his fingers brushed upon the flower crown he hadn't even realized he was still wearing.
As if she just remembered his presence, she awkwardly cleared her throat, "Uh, hey Connor. Whatcha doing here?"
Connor panicked briefly, not wanting to say he saw her on the hill them decided to see her: "I have to set land mines here." Idiot, it was the other hill.
He looked her in the eye, and for some reason her eyes had aged a million years. Like she had gone through eternity in the three months since he saw her last.
