It was my wedding day; I was finally getting married to the love of my life. I hadn't seen her for a day, and I couldn't wait to see her.

I was finally dressed in my dressing room, my make-up and hair done by professionals. My dress shaping my body beautifully.

I stared at myself in the mirror as the door behind me opens. I look at it through the mirror and see that it's Claudia. My maid of honor.

She gasps, her eyes flooding with tears. "Wow. You look beautiful." She whispers, coming up next to me and I smile at her. "Thank you."

"Billie got lucky with you." Claudia says and I laugh softly, shaking my head. "I'm definitely the lucky one Claudia. I love that woman so much. So fucking much."

I smile at the thought of Billie, playing with my hands as I think back onto the day that I met her. In that stupid fucking cafe.

"You're both lucky to have each other, you guys are couple goals. You've been together for so long." She says, a smile on her face.

I laugh, smiling as I look up at her. "It's my wedding day." I say, laughing in a bit of disbelief.

"It is." She replies and my eyes flood with tears. "Don't cry yet!" Claudia laughs, pulling me into a tight hug.

I let out a grunt and laugh, "I know. I'm just so happy."

"I know you are."

The door opens again, my older brother walking in and smiling as he walks up to us. "You ready Dakota?" I nod, looking at him and smiling. "As ready as I'll ever be."

He smiles, holding out his elbow which I wrap my arm around. He hands me the bouquet of roses which I happily took.

Heading into the wedding venue, my eyes meet Billie. She looks so fucking good right now. Her brother standing behind her. His role as her usher had fit their relationship. It made sense for him to play that role at her wedding.

Billie is dressed in a suit, her hair down and on her shoulders. She looked amazing, she looked so beautiful.

As I walked down the isle, I swear I could see a single tear run down her cheek. And I knew I was right when she wiped it away.

I take her hand, moving to stand in front of her. I turn to hand Claudia the flowers which she takes. And then I look at Billie.

Looking into her blue eyes with a smile, I couldn't believe this was happening. She smiled at me, her eyes filled with complete happiness.

I hold back the urge to kiss her as the marriage officiant starts his speech, my eyes still locked on Billie. "Dearly beloved and honored guests, we are gathered together here to join Dakota Marie and Billie O'Connell in this spiritual union of marriage. This contract is not to be entered into lightly, but thoughtfully and seriously, and with a deep realization of its obligations and responsibilities. Please, remember that love, loyalty, and understanding are the foundations of a happy and enduring home."

He turns facing me as he smiles. "Do you, Dakota Marie, take this woman, Billie O'Connell, to be your lawfully wedded wife. To have have and to hold, in sickness and in health, in good times and woe, for richer or poorer, keeping yourself unto her as long as you both shall live?" He speaks, and I instantly give my response. Smiling at my future wife, "I do."

He then turns to Billie, repeating his statement. "And do you, Billie O'Connell, take this woman, Dakota Marie, to be your lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold, in sickness and in health, in good times and woe, for richer or poorer, keeping yourself unto her for as long as you both shall live?" Billie returns my smile, squeezing my hands before speaking. "I do."

My nephew walks over to us, a pillow with our rings in his hands. He holds it above his head and we reach for the rings. "Dakota Marie and Billie O'Connell will now exchange rings as a symbol of their love and commitment." And we do, I put my ring onto Billie's hand, and she puts hers onto mine. We look into each other's eyes and I realize that this is real.

I'm finally getting married to the love of my life.

He looks at the two of us, "do we have any vows?" He asks and we both nod. "Yes sir." He nods, allowing us to say our vows and I allow Billie to say hers first.

"Dakota, I've loved you since that moment in the park. The touch of your head on my shoulder as you fell asleep. Your peaceful look. The moon looked so beautiful on you; I never knew I could love someone as much as I love you. I still find my heart skipping beats with a simple touch, a simple kiss makes me feel like I'm on another planet. And I never want to let you go, you're mine forever and I'm going to hold you until we both turn to ash. Until we're six feet under. You're my soulmate, you always have been. And you are the match to my candle. You set my whole world on fire. And I know there's Heaven, but we must be higher, I'm gonna love you 'til my heart retires. Forever will last. I promise you that." (I LOVE THIS SONG WAYYY TOO MUCH! IM SORRY!)

My heart skips a beat listening to Billie's words, a few tears leaving my eyes as I look into her eyes. I feel her hands squeeze mine before she wipes my tears away. I ready myself before speaking, saying my vows in return.

"Billie, I've loved you since the first time I laid eyes on you. At the one place I thought no one ever went to. A small, café. I had stumbled upon it by chance that day, seeking somewhere private. Little did I know that when I walked through those doors, my life would be forever changed. Searching for an empty table, my gaze landed upon you. Time seemed to stand still as our eyes met, the blue of yours made my heart flutter. I couldn't tear my eyes away from you. It was as if a spotlight shone on you. As though the universe had conspired to bring us together in that very moment. We didn't exchange many words that day, yet the silence between us spoke volumes. I never would have thought that 3 years later, I'd be here. Marrying that beautiful girl from that cafe. That I would be helplessly in love with you. I have always loved you. And to this day, I love you more than anything." I confess and Billie's eyes flood with tears.

Then the officiant spoke up. "And now by the authority, vested in me by America Marriage Ministries and the state of California, I now pronounce you, wife and wife."

Billie places her hand on my cheek and leans down to kiss me. Her other hand on my lower back as she bens me back wards. I kiss her back, my hands on her cheeks. The crowd cheering as she rocks me from side to side.

She pulls away and stares down at me, "I love you, Mrs. O'Connell." She whispers, kissing me again and I giggle.

"I love you, too, Mrs. O'Connell."
