Chapter 1

"Pierce requests your presence" a guard spoke to Kayla.
"Just me?" she replied.
"No. All of you" The guard looked next to Kayla to Luke and Ellie.

They made their way to Alexander Pierce's office in an orderly manner none of the three showed much expression on their face they just kept their heads up and did as they were told. They arrived and Pierce was standing waiting to invite them in.

"You requested to see us?" Kayla asked.
"Yes I have a new and very important mission for the three of you" Pierce replied.
"What is it?" Ellie continued with little to no tone in her voice.
"We have received intel that S.H.I.E.L.D has discovered and is hiding some new variations of the super soldier serum and I want you to retrieve it." Pierced told them.
"Why not any other agents?" Luke asked curiously.
"Because they do not have the skills you have to enable them to break into this top-secret facility," Pierce stated slightly raising his voice. "Do you understand?"
"Yes Sir" the three replied in unison.
"Good, now go prepare you'll be leaving shortly" Pierce ushered them out of the room.

Kayla was the oldest and sort of mother figure of the group when they weren't under mind control. She was sixteen years old and had long brown hair that reached the bottom of her back, her hazel eyes sat above her rosy cheeks that were coated with freckles that covered the whole of her face.

As Kayla walked Ellie followed closely behind. Her blonde hair swung in a ponytail tied at the back of her head and her piercing green eyes looked seriously ahead. She was fifteen, a year younger than Kayla and although the two were cousins they looked nothing alike.

Luke, the youngest of the three at Thirteen years old, was Kayla's younger brother. He had the same eyes and hair as Kayla except his hair was curly on top and short around the sides.

They had been training as assassins for as long as they could remember. Luke was in Hydra since the start but when Hydra first took them all in they sold Kayla and Ellie to the Red Room to be trained there until they were ready to be handed back to Hydra and reunited with Luke when they were twelve and thirteen.

All of them knew that they were about to be put under strict mind control for this mission. This scared Kayla every time they were assigned something new as she hated feeling that she had no choice in whether she could protect her brother and cousin if something went wrong.

The procedure was like second nature to the three now so as soon as they got to the room they walked straight over to their chairs and as usual the chips were placed into the back of their necks switching off any control they had on their bodies.
