Pony's POV
I can't believe this is even happening, this all seems so unreal. How did the infection even start? Why did it start? Who even was the person to spread it? All of these questions race through my head, making me stress out a little before I get interrupted.
"Pony?" A soft voice called out.
I turn around to see my best friend, Zizzy. Oh I love her, she always tried to understand me and it makes me feel horrible. She doesn't need to go out of her way to comfort me, but she does. I wanna make it up to her for having her deal with me. I heard the door close and footsteps get close.
"Are you doing okay? You have been up here since the morning." The worry in her voice was noticeable and it stabbed me, she shouldn't feel this way because of me.
"Y-Yeah I'm fine. I was just doing some personal stuff yk, aha"
"You sure? You have been more down lately, you are rarely eating much anymore." She grabs my hands showing they are more thinner.
"Oh... I must've forgot aha, you know since all this stuff happened I have been struggling to think about myself."
Zizzy looks up at me with a concerned look in her eyes and just hugs me.
"I know you miss him Pony, but please.. please take care of yourself. I know you want to go out there again to find him but just take it easy. You have been bashing yourself for not being able to find him at all the past few weeks. You know he would rather have you take care of yourself first than anything."
She was right. He was a caring person after all, he wouldn't want me here blaming myself for everything. It wasn't my fault. I just felt myself start to tear up, I tried to hold it back until she said just let it out. I hate how she puts up with my bullshit every time. She shouldn't be holding me, she could be doing something better with her time but no here she is comforting me.
I held onto her tightly and sobbed into her shoulder.
Um hey guys I'm gonna try to rewrite this book because good lord the writing is shit. I'm also going to fix the story a little more and the characters bc when I wrote this book I had the mindset of
"SHES RUINING THE GAY SHIP!"
So yeah, probably this book is gonna be dead due to me not updating it in so long, but yeah that's all I wanted to say. Love you guys <3
