Powerpuff Girls (2016) Reboot Remake

S1 Ep1 - "Ticket For Who?"

(Mashirae: This episode is more or less based on S1 Ep1 of the Powerpuff Girls 2016 Reboot "Escape From Monster Island and one of the reboot's games called "Ready, Set, Monsters!"

The episode title I came up with for this episode has no pun, at least from as far as I could tell. Regardless, I think it's a pretty good title so I decided to use it for this ep.

The image above is from "Who's Got the Power?" intro of the Powerpuff Girls (2016) Reboot. Depending on who's on the image, that's who the episode's centered around on. For one, this is a Bubbles-centric episode 🔵

Also, due to how difficult it is to write the Narrator's lines in dialogue form--or whatever it is called--I decided to have his lines be in script form instead. But only his lines will be like that.

Now, without further ado, I hope you enjoy this lil remake of mine ^^)

Synopsis: With her family unable to go with her to a concert and the first day of school arriving the next day, Bubbles feels down, not knowing what to do with her other concert ticket. Just then, the girls get a call for help and soon set off on a mission to save the Mayor of Townsville in a certain island.

Narrator: "The City of Townsville..."

As the Narrator said this, the city skyline at daytime was shown.

Narrator: "...will be visited by a popular boy band who'll be hosting a concert later tonight at this very city"

The scene moved to the suburban home of the Powerpuff Girls.

Narrator: "And it seems that the Powerpuff Girls are very excited for it too!"

A catchy pop song then started playing, coming from the radio inside the girls' home. Blossom and Bubbles were holding each other's hands as they squealed and jumped with glee on the bedroom floor. Buttercup on the other hand was sitting on the bed.

The green powerpuff rolled her eyes at her sisters, unamused. "Oh give it a rest already. It's just a concert"

Narrator: "Well, except for Buttercup, that is"

Blossom and Bubbles stopped and looked at their sister.

"It's not just a concert, Buttercup" Blossom flew over to a poster of four young boys. A name was written underneath each boy.

There was a blonde-haired guy named Chance; two black-haired guys with different hairstyles named Dax and Kevonne; and lastly, a guy named Derek with chestnut-coloured hair.

"This is the concert of the Sensitive Thugz we're talking about. The most recent band to gain such a huge amount of following in only a matter of weeks on the internet. You're even listening to one of their songs right now" Blossom said.

"Well, that's only cause the radio's playing their songs" Buttercup said, before thinking to herself. "And cause of my main man, Dax. I may not be a fan of this kind of music, but I can't deny the guy's kinda cool"

Buttercup continued to talk. "Can't really help it if the radio's playing their songs"

"I mean, you can always go elsewhere if you don't want to listen to their songs" Blossom simply kept this thought to herself, not wanting to start up an argument with her sister.

"But you see, Bloss. Pop music isn't really my thing. I'd much prefer something cooler like rock or metal" Buttercup grinned and crossed her arms. "Now that, that's my jam"

"But didn't you sing a pop song with us before?" Bubbles said, referring to the time the Powerpuff Girls sung on stage to bring the colours back to Townsville.
