Powerpuff Girls (2016) Reboot Remake

S1 Ep2 - "Pay Attention"

(Mashirae: This episode is only very little based on S1 Ep12 - "The Wrinklegruff Gals" which basically only covers the fact that it's the Powerpuff Girls' first day of school and nothing more than that haha

The episode title's probably not creative, but I have my reasons for why I chose this ep title in the end. All I can say rn though is that I think it's fitting to what I'm trying to do with this episode, including the image I used for the episode.

Speaking of the image above, it's one of the posters from the Powerpuff Girls (2016) Reboot. Depending on who's on the image, that's who the episode's centered around on. Guess who it might be this time :3

Also, due to how difficult it is to write the Narrator's lines in dialogue form--or whatever it is called--I decided to have his lines be in script form instead. But only his lines will be like that. And yes, I'll be mentioning this for each episode haha

Synopsis: It's the Powerpuff Girls' first day at Pokey Oaks Elementary. As Bubbles worry about how things would go on their first day, her family reassures her things will be okay. Later on, the girls meet a new friend and Princess finds herself jealous of the girls once more.

Narrator: "The City of Townsville..."

As the Narrator said this, the city skyline was shown.

Narrator: "...home to our beloved heroes, the Powerpuff Girls! Speaking of those girls, I wonder where they could be right now?"

Professor Utonium was then shown to be driving his car with the Powerpuff Girls sitting in the passenger seats.

Narrator: "Oh, here they are. And it appears that they're headed somewhere. If I recall, today is a big day that awaits these girls. What day is it supposed to be again today? Let's see..."

Narrator: "Ah yes! I remember now. It's..."

"The first day of elementary school" Blossom said, finishing the Narrator's words. "It's finally here"

Now that she and her sisters were going to begin attending elementary school, it would mean new lessons to learn, new experiences, and being introduced to various types of people in a different institution.

The pink powerpuff may have a calm expression on her face, but she truly had been looking forward to this day.

"Up until now, I honestly thought we'd be kindergartners forever, never to get a chance to experience what elementary school and the other levels of education would be like"

"Can't blame ya for thinking that. We already celebrated our birthday three times and it's like we never aged at all" Buttercup said, referring to the time when they were born, the birthday bash, and the third time being the surprise party.

"Well, considering you three don't age the same way the others and I do, there's no telling for sure what your age may be. It's one of the reasons why I wasn't entirely sure when would be a good time to send you to elementary school" The Professor said while focusing his eyes on the road.

"But if we do age naturally, how old would we be by now, Professor?" Blossom asked.

"Considering you three seemed to be around the age of 5 years old when you were first born, I'd say you're about 7 years old now if we count the three birthdays we celebrated for you" The Professor answered. "But of course, that's only a presumed age and we can't know for sure how old you girls truly are"

"But then how is it that we never left kindergarten until now?" Blossom asked. "Don't get me wrong. I really love Pokey Oaks Kindergarten. I only can't help but question why we stayed till now. I mean, at the presumed age of 6 years old, shouldn't we have already gone to elementary school last year since that's the age when 1st grade starts?"
