As the days passed, I found myself drawn back into the routine of Hogwarts life, the hustle and bustle of classes and homework providing a welcome distraction from the tangled web of emotions swirling within me. Yet, despite my efforts to bury my feelings, thoughts of Teddy continued to haunt me, his presence a constant reminder of the unspoken tension between us.

One afternoon, as I sat alone in the library poring over my Transfiguration textbook, a familiar voice broke through the silence, causing me to look up in surprise. Teddy stood before me, a sheepish smile playing at the corners of his lips.

"Hey, Mia," he said, his voice warm and inviting. "Mind if I join you?"

I blinked in surprise, my heart racing at the sight of him. "Sure, Teddy," I replied, trying to keep my voice steady despite the butterflies fluttering in my stomach.

Teddy took a seat opposite me, his gaze meeting mine in a way that sent a shiver down my spine. "So, how's studying going?" he asked, his tone light and casual.

I shrugged, unable to tear my eyes away from him. "It's going okay, I guess," I replied, my voice barely above a whisper. "Just trying to keep up with all the assignments."

Teddy nodded, a sympathetic smile gracing his features. "I know what you mean," he said, his voice soft. "Transfiguration is a tough subject."

As we fell into conversation, a sense of ease settled over me, the familiar banter between us providing a welcome respite from the turmoil of my thoughts. Yet, beneath the surface, a part of me couldn't help but wonder what might have been if things had played out differently between us.

"So, Mia," Teddy said, interrupting my thoughts. "I was wondering if you'd like to join me for a walk by the lake later? It's such a beautiful day, and I thought it might be nice to get some fresh air."

I felt my heart leap at his words, a rush of excitement coursing through me at the prospect of spending time alone with him. "I'd love to," I replied, unable to suppress the smile that spread across my face.

Teddy's grin mirrored my own, his eyes sparkling with anticipation. "Great," he said, his voice tinged with excitement. "I'll meet you by the entrance hall after dinner?"

I nodded eagerly, my pulse quickening at the thought of our impending rendezvous. "Sounds perfect," I said, my voice barely above a whisper.

As Teddy gathered his books and prepared to leave, a sense of anticipation welled up inside me, the promise of our upcoming walk filling me with a sense of hope for the future. And though I couldn't shake the lingering doubts that plagued my mind, I pushed them aside, choosing instead to focus on the possibility of what lay ahead.

As the day wore on, my mind buzzed with anticipation for my walk with Teddy. Every passing minute seemed to stretch on endlessly, each second bringing me closer to our rendezvous by the entrance hall.

When evening finally arrived, I made my way to the designated meeting spot, my heart racing with excitement. As I rounded the corner, I spotted Teddy waiting for me, his smile warm and welcoming.

"Hey, Mia," he greeted me, his eyes alight with anticipation. "Ready for our walk?"

I nodded eagerly, a surge of butterflies dancing in my stomach as we set off towards the lake. The air was crisp and cool, the soft glow of the setting sun casting a warm golden light over the grounds of Hogwarts.

As we walked, Teddy and I fell into easy conversation, the tension between us melting away in the comfort of each other's company. We laughed and joked, sharing stories and secrets as we strolled along the lakeshore.
