The truth ~Jeongyeon

Y/n PoV:
Waking up with the groan because of the notification sound I turned to see the group chat

✨all the single ladies✨
Godzyo: y'all still asleep
Yoo beep beep: bro stfu wdym I'm about to leave
Wheepup: guys it's a been a long time we went to have dinner should we go after work
Naboongs: y'all said food? Suree I'm free after today
Yoo beep beep: me too
Godzyo:me three
Hyejinie:me four
Wheepup: y/n is still asleep???
Agi-y/n: I was until y'all woke me up
Agi-y/n:but okay I'm free after work too
Yoo beep beep: yayyy let's discuss about this in the work then

You closed your phone and got out of bed to get ready, after a while you got ready and went down to have some coffee. I was sitting on the dining table having my coffee and scrolling on my phone when I heard footsteps I saw jaehyun "oh good morning jaehyun" I give him a smile , to which he smiled back and said "good morning y/n-ie" he sat down across you,pouring his coffee into a cup "so I'm a planing a date today after work planning to confess, what do you think" he said with a nervous tone "oh my finally I was waiting for this, I need all the details tho fill me in later on how it goes" you said excitedly "oh and I'm going to work after that I'm going to have dinner with the girls" he wiggled his eyebrows "yeah yeah with 'your girl' " I rolled my eyes at him and went to office

In the office:
I was walking to lift when I saw jihyo' "oh hey y/n" she ran to me and hugged me "hello unnie" I hugged back "come let's go up" she smiled holding my hand, I was the youngest one in this friend group and she was a year older than me,and she is the one who babies me the most
We went up to the other taking near the lounge we went to them and greeted them "hyejin unnie isn't here yet" I asked them wheein sighed and said "you already know" we heard a voice "guys you know what I fell down the stairs and when I went to get coffee I spilled all of it,so I had to clean it all again and that why I got late" hyejin said it one breath we all shook our heads "okie yall let's get to work we'll discuss about the hangout later" jeongyeon said and I looked at her with heart eyes, she was been my crush since four years and I didn't have the courage to confess, hopefully I get to do it  soon.

After sitting and working for 3 hours,I stretched my back and turned to my side as wheein was there "unnie do you wanna get coffee"  I asked her getting up "Yess" she said and stoop up, we went to get coffee as we walked towards the cafeteria

Jeongyeon pov:
Sitting since,made my back ache, I heard jihyo ask me "yah jeongyeon-ah let's get coffee" to which I nodded as we went to cafeteria, but as we reached there I heard y/n and wheein talk "so y/n how's your husband doing" wheein asked her "well he's fine" and y/n replied with a shrug "how are things with him" she asked y/n another question and she replied "yeah things are good I think he'll confess today" I felt my heart sink, how could she do this to me I liked her since a long time and she didn't even tell us she got married ? Not wanting to listen further I walked away leaving jihyo alone

Jihyo pov:
I was confused why y/n didn't tell us about because we are all sure y/n and jeongyeon liked each other, so I stayed back to listen to more of the conversation "damn girl I've huge respect for you, you married jaehyun just so your sister could marry jaemin" wheein said and that caught my attention "well it is a lavender marriage and we'll be divorced in a few months anyway so yeah" I knew y/n liked jeongyeon, I quickly went towards nayeon and hyejin unnie "guys so I heard something" I told them everything I heard "wow I don't know what to say" nayeon nodded at hyejins comment "I think it's them both who should talk it out with each other" I said and they both agreed with me

Lunch time
y/n PoV:
We all gathered in our usual place to have lunch and discuss our hangout later on "oh jeongyeon come sit" I called her as soon as I saw her but she ignored me and sat down beside nayeon 'I wonder what happened'  "uh okay guys what about the place near the mall I heard the food over there is tasty" wheein said "oh yeah I was thinking the same" jihyo agreed and we all decided to go to that place

After lunch, we had a team meeting and I was the last one to walk in, usually jeongyeon saves me a seat and I sit beside her but today she was sitting in between jihyo and hyejin, I tilted my head and just sat down beside jihyo

After work:
We're finally done with work and we were going to go have dinner, but I was not in that great mood because jeongyeon was ignoring me almost the whole day today I felt so sad about that. We reached and ordered our food and jeongyeon went to use the bathroom "hey does anyone of you know why jeongyeon is ignoring me" I asked them and they looked at each other except wheein and nayeon sighed "y/n I think you should talk to her yourself" I looked at the other and they nodded , so I stood and went to the bathroom and waited outside for her to come, and she came out after a minute, she was about to walk away when I called her "jeongyeon wait" I held her wrist she turned around "what" she said trying to get her hand out of my grip but I gripped it tighter "tell me what I did wrong for you to ignore me please" she scoffed "you're really asking me this" I nodded at her to which she lifted my hand and showed me my ring finger, "you're really married y/n?" She asked and I finally realised what happened "jeongyeon will you please listen to me for a minute" I partially begged her "okay fine tell me" she said folding her hands against her chest "I married jaehyun because only then my sister could marry her boyfriend and jaehyun'd brother jaemin, my father kept this condition in the last minute and I couldn't do anything but when me and jaehyun talked to each other we realised it was a lavender marriage so we'll be divorced in a few months,and he likes his Secratry,soomin and he planned to confess today and me, well I like you, I like you since four years, I get it if you don't like me but I'll keep liking you" I said and took a deep breath and saw she was not saying anything "I like you too y/n" my head shot up at her answer, she gave me her angelic smile and repeated again "I love you y/n" I hugged her as I smiled when she hugged back "so will you be my girlfriend" she asked breaking the hug "yes dummy" her lips curved into a smile again "but I'll take you out first" I said quickly which caused her  laugh "okay I don't have anything to object" I smiled at her and we went back to the girls "so you both made up with each other" jihyo asked and I looked at jeongyeon and turned to jihyo "yeah and we also confessed to each other" they all started teasing us and we had a lot of fun that night
