Drawn Into You

Chapter 1 - The start

Wednesday, 11:00 pm

Always didn't get enough sleep people is now quite common and im one of them. Ginagawa ko ngayon yung projects namin that was literally due next week but then almost all of the subjects gave those projects at the same time and same due date. Chill lang mga maam and sir, hindi kami rabot okay?

I felt really sleeping right now but luckily, wala akong pasok sa restaurant. Yup, nagtratrabaho ako and at the same time nagaaral din. Because of me, my mom and my older brother's hardwork, meron kami ngayong maliit na sari-sari store and nakalipat kami ngayon sa mas maayos at mas magandang bahay.

And also, i have other two younger brothers, they are Kalix and Uno.

"Anak, busy ka?" Tanong ni mama na naka silip sa pinto ng kwarto ko.

"Uhm quite. Bakit po?" Sagot ko at tinanong din siya. Pumasok siya sa kwarto ko at umupo sa kama ko.

"Uhm i quite wonder, wala bang nanliligaw sayo? Okay i get it na 17 ka palang and next school year ay college kana so magiging busy ka lalo pero i cant stay with you forever, anak—We cant stay forever. Kasi yung kuya mo may girlfriend na tas yung mga bata mong kapatid nakakaya na nilang magisa." Sabi ni mama.

"Wala po eh." My short answer. I still want to say something but my mom was right. Magiging different yung paths na dadaanan namin in the future. Pero...

"Not even interested in falling inlove? Is it about your da-"

"Mom, yes. It might be it." I didn't let my continue what she will say cause i already know it. "Most of the boys in this generation cant even love only one girl—or maybe it wasn't love..." I added and looked at my mom.

"Ma, ever since nung pinagsasaktan ka noon ni papa then iniwan tayo for some pretty girl hindi ako nakaramdam ng any love to someone—well sometimes i tried to but i ended up hurting my self because i love so much." I tried to stop my tears from falling and however everything came crushing back to my mind.

In the time that mom was pregnant to my twin brothers, mom found out that dad was cheating, yet not only for one girl, they are three—or maybe more than that.

Nagalit si mama kay papa and nagaway sila. My mom slaps my dad then dad slaps her harder. Dad was being so aggressive in that time that i thought he's about to k*ll mom. Mom was crying holding her tummy and we saw that she feels pain in it.

They thought we were asleep. Dad was holding a knife, as he was about to hurt mom, kuya ran and stop him. Dad slash my brother on his neck yet he is still holding dad.

I was still so young, i ran through our bedroom and got my mini cutter. I was not thinking at that time, i just want to save mom and my brothers.

I ran fast as i can and goes to the back of my dad. I stab his back and he screams. He sees me and grabs me, he was about to punch me when tita Laly came. I cried, it wasn't my fault, i just want to keep mommy safe. Gladly, dad survived—well maliit lang naman yung sugat and walang na damage na organ or bones.

Us three, also got into the hospital, si kuya ay ginamot na yung sugat sa leeg niya at nakita na may bali sa isa niyang braso, same as me pero meron din sa isa kong binti.
