Rome's POV -
I shot up my chest heaving as i struggled to find my balance. My fingers slipped through the holes of the metal box as my eyes darted around only to be met with darkness.
"Hello?!" I yelled fear laced in my hoarse voice, "Hello?! Help! Help me!" I yelled as my eyes became glossy and bile welled up in my throat.
I open my mouth and vomit only to puke out water.
Please don't let me die here. I thought as i realized the box was shooting up towards what seemed to be stone.
As the box was just about to reach the stone i braced my self only for the box to come to a sudden, harsh, halt.
I flew forward hitting my nose on a box, i held my nose feeling a warm, thick, substance coming out of it.
Light flowed the doors as they opened and i lifted a hand to shield my eyes. A shaggy haired blonde landed in front of me and i scrambled backwards.
"Woah, woah! It's okay, im- we're not gonna hurt you." The boy said, his english accent wavering through the air.
His voice was soothing, reassuring. I hesitantly grabbed his extended hand and felt myself being pulled up.
I scramble out of the box and look around, taking in my surroundings.
"Welcome to the glade" a dark-skinned boy said patting my shoulder as i looked at him with furrowed brows.
"The glade? Whats that?" I said completely oblivious to the situation.
"Where you are now, your new home." The boy said pulling me away from the hoard of boys as i hear the same English accent yell a loud "back to work!"
Once we're away from the crowd the dark-skinned boy shakes my hand and begins introducing himself.
"Im Alby, leader of the glade here." The boy
—Alby— says as he lets go of my hand.
"Whats your name greenie?" Alby says looking at me with a smile, "it started with an R...uhm.." i said why couldn't i remember my name?! I thought fear enveloping me.
"It's okay, you outta get You name back in a day or two" Alby says reassuringly as that same shaggy haired blonde walks up to us.
"Heya, Alby" The boy says "hi newt, Greenie meet newt, when im not around, he's in charge." Alby said and i nodded to let him know I understood.
"Hey newt, go get chuck would ya' " Alby says as newt walks off.
