Soobin and I land back into the court yard of the guy side of the school. Kaida bows her head back to the ground so I could jump off softer. Soobin learned me some tricks to help me focus. We stayed a while before heading back towards the school. When we land on the ground and I was touching Kaida her nose to thank her for flying me.
"Choi Soobin. Choi Jules. A word." The head master of the school said and I glimpsed my way to Soobin before follow the head master. "Stay here." I told Kaida and she slightly nodded her giant head and she did wait. The whole way towards the head masters office was quiet. I didn't say anything and neither did Soobin. My heart was racing so fast being nervous why we're called in again. But I have my guesses.
The head master closed the door behind us and when to lean against his desk. "So. Your friends are gone. Any idea where they are?" My lips parted when the head master looked at me. I was about to tell him everything but Soobin was faster than me. "No idea sir." The headmaster looked at Soobin and I release a breath. "No idea? Some say they saw you and Jules saying goodbye to them." Again my heart was racing.
If he would know we know we could be in trouble and I am so not ready to be in trouble. The headmaster looked at me again so I would talk but again Soobin was faster. "Then they are wrong. Jules and I have been training the whole time. We're bonded so we need our time together." The headmaster looked at bit taken back. "You're bonded as well? Two bonds in one year?" The headmaster went to the back of his desk where a thick book was laying.
It was an older one that peaked my interest. "Impossible." he murmured beneath his breath. Soobin and I glanced at each other. "Are you sure you're bonded? Because if this is true then I need to have a meeting with the board." The board is a group of people who talk about everything going on in here. "We're sure sir. We bonded a few days ago. It happened very casually because of our powers." The headmaster looked at us. "If you're bonded and Taehyung and Feyre are. That means something big. Soobin you see the future. do you know?" I look at Soobin waiting for an answer he is gonna say.
He didn't use words but a fern nod. He knew what is going on and what is to come. "I understand that you cannot tell us much but is there something you can say?" Still my eyes were on Soobin. He is tall and black suited him very well. He is no doubt very handsome. "The only thing I can say is that the wyverns are real. It never ended." I knew what he talked about. The war against the wyverns. It was a very big battle our ancestors fought. It was over it was supposed to be over. It isn't.
"What do you mean? It was over. We won." Soobin shook his head. "You didn't. You won that battle yes. But the war never stopped. They are stronger and these bonds are happening especially for that." This all didn't sound good. Why am I even here? My palms are sweating and I am so not made to be here. I cannot fight I have no idea how to use my powers. And I am supposed to fight in a war? "Take a breath." Kaida reassured me and I did what she told me to.
She feels how I feel and now Soobin does. It is all so very scary and all I want to do is sit in a corner with a blanket over me. "How many bonds are there to come?" The headmaster asks very curious. "One more. Three in total. Taehyung and Feyre are but something is about them that makes them very strong they don't know it yet. Jules and I are. We're mentally together. We're the strongest mentally. The third one will be the hardest to bond but it will come soon. They will have control over everything. So you have to big three." The big three? It was a legend. Stories told when we were children.
That there were three most powerful legends. No one ever seen it before only centuries ago. It was a myth at least that is what have been told. "Mind." Soobin said that would be us. "Control." The headmaster said that would be the next bond. "Destroy." That would be Feyre and Taehyung. If the third comes as bonded that means it's all true. They always said it would come back someday. Never knew I would live to see it and be right in it.
