Chapter 1: New Beginnings

As (Y/N) lugged her boxes into the dormitory building, her heart raced with anticipation. She couldn't believe she was finally starting her college journey at New York University. With each step, she felt a mix of excitement and nervousness swirl inside her.

Finding her way to the elevator, (Y/N) carefully balanced her boxes as she pressed the button for the seventh floor. The elevator ride felt like an eternity as she anxiously awaited the moment she would meet her new roommate.

As the elevator doors opened on the seventh floor, (Y/N) stepped out into the hallway and glanced around, trying to locate her room. Finally spotting the door with her assigned room number, she made her way over and took a deep breath before knocking.

To her relief, the door swung open, revealing a young man with long, black hair and warm eyes – her new roommate, Yoongi. He greeted her with a friendly smile, his voice calm and reassuring.

"Hey there, you must be (Y/N). I'm Yoongi," he said, extending his hand.

As Yoongi opened the door to greet (Y/N), the warm summer breeze flowed into the room, tousling his long black hair. He stood there in a simple yet stylish outfit—a black t-shirt that hugged his frame just right, paired with a comfortable pair of jeans. Despite the heat of the summer day, he looked effortlessly cool and collected, his dark hair swaying gently in the breeze.

(Y/N) returned his smile, feeling a sense of relief wash over her. "Nice to meet you, Yoongi," she replied, shaking his hand.

"Nice to meet you too, (Y/N)," Yoongi said warmly. "Come on in."

Before (Y/N) could step inside, Yoongi gestured toward the floor. "Do you mind taking off your shoes before coming in?" he asked politely. "I have some slippers you can wear instead."

(Y/N) nodded in agreement, appreciating Yoongi's consideration for cleanliness. "Of course," she replied with a smile, slipping off her shoes and sliding into the comfortable slippers provided by Yoongi.

"Thanks," she added, feeling more at ease in her new home already.

Yoongi smiled back, gesturing for her to enter. "No problem. I can't stand wearing shoes inside, so I figured you might feel the same way."

As (Y/N) stepped inside, she couldn't help but notice how inviting the space felt, thanks to Yoongi's thoughtful gesture. She felt grateful to have such a considerate roommate as they began their journey together at NYU.

With Yoongi's help, (Y/N) began to unpack her belongings, setting up her items in the rooms and making it feel more like home. As they worked together, they exchanged small talk, getting to know each other better.

"So, where are you from?" Yoongi asked, stacking books onto a shelf.

"I'm from a small town in upstate New York," (Y/N) replied, folding clothes and placing them in her dresser.

As they continued to unpack, (Y/N) couldn't help but notice how effortlessly Yoongi seemed to fit into the space. He moved with ease, his movements graceful and fluid, his long black hair swaying slightly with each movement.

Before long, (Y/N) had unpacked half of her boxes, and the room began to feel more cozy and lived-in. She stepped back, surveying her handiwork with a sense of satisfaction.

"Looks like we're all settled in," Yoongi remarked, glancing around the room with a smile.

"Yeah, it feels good to finally be here," (Y/N) agreed, a sense of excitement bubbling inside her.

"So, where are you from, Yoongi?" (Y/N) asked, curiosity piqued.

"I'm from Daegu, Korea," Yoongi replied, a hint of nostalgia in his voice. "It's a small city, but it's home."
