Chapter 7: Late Night Confessions

As Jungkook settles in beside me, I can't help but feel the weight of his presence, the warmth of his body seeping into mine. I try to focus on the movie, but the closeness between us sends a ripple of nerves through me, a mix of excitement and apprehension swirling in my stomach.

Glancing over at Yoongi, I catch a glimpse of something unreadable in his eyes before he looks away, his jaw clenched tight.

Is it because the guys are using me as a pillow? Yoongi does it time from time to when we have movie night, so what's wrong? Did I forget to clean the oven again?

But before I can dwell on it further, Taehyung's voice breaks through the tension, his easygoing demeanor serving as a much-needed distraction. "Hey, pass the popcorn," he says with a grin, reaching out to grab the bowl from Yoongi's outstretched hand.

I follow suit, passing the bowl along to Taehyung and focusing on the movie once again, trying to push aside the unease stirring within me. But despite my efforts, I can't shake the feeling that something has shifted between us, a subtle undercurrent of tension lingering in the air.

"Hey guys, I think it's my turn to be (Y/n)'s personal pillow," Yoongi jokes, his tone light but his eyes betraying a hint of playful competitiveness.

Jungkook and Taehyung exchange amused glances before shaking their heads in unison. "Sorry, hyung, but I think we've got this covered," Jungkook replies with a cheeky grin.

"Yeah, besides, I called dibs first," Taehyung adds, chuckling at Yoongi.

Yoongi rolls his eyes, though there's a hint of amusement in his expression. "Fine, suit yourselves," he says, reaching for the popcorn with a dramatic sigh.

I can't help but laugh at their banter, grateful for the lightheartedness they bring to the situation.

As the credits rolled and the laughter of our movie night slowly faded away, the time came for everyone to leave. I began to get up from Yoongi's bed when he unexpectedly grabbed my arm, causing me to pause.

"Hey, be careful," he said softly, his gaze serious as he looked into my eyes. "I think Jungkook and Taehyung might like you."

I couldn't help but laugh at his words, shaking my head in disbelief. "Yoongi, come on, we're just close friends, like we are," I reassured him, trying to brush off his concern.

He hesitated for a moment, his expression guarded as he processed my words. With a forced smile, he nodded.

"Yeah, you're probably right," he replied, his tone casual as he looked away, pretending to be unaffected by the conversation.

Sensing his unease, I offered a comforting smile, hoping to ease the tension between us. "Hey, do you want to stay for a bit?" I suggested, gesturing to the cozy blankets draped over his bed. "We could watch another movie or something."

Yoongi hesitated for a moment before nodding, a hint of gratitude flickering in his eyes. "Yeah, that sounds nice," he agreed, his voice soft as he settled back against the pillows, his guard momentarily lowered.

Just as we were getting comfortable, Jungkook and Taehyung chimed in with playful protests, their teasing smiles evident in their voices.

"No way, (Y/n) is staying with me tonight," Jungkook joked, reaching out to grab my hand with a playful grin.

Taehyung chuckled, leaning in close with a mischievous glint in his eyes. "Sorry, Jungkook, but I called dibs first," he teased, wrapping an arm around my shoulder.

Yoongi's expression darkened slightly at their flirtatious behavior, his jaw tensing as he glanced between them and me. With a subtle sigh, he cleared his throat, his voice laced with thinly veiled irritation.
