The small group sat around the living room until close to midnight. It shocked her when she realized how late it had gotten. The bikers all thanked her once again for the wonderful meal and having them over. She laughed and said she enjoyed their company. They all hugged her before they left. Tig reminded her to lock her door after they left making her laugh and tell him she always kept her door locked. He grinned and told her "Good". She waved as she watched her friends leave and head down to their bikes. Shutting the door, she locked it then began turning all the lights off. The dessert dishes were sitting in the sink and she figured she'd put them in the dishwasher in the morning when she was cleaning up from breakfast. After walking into her room, she quickly changed and then slid into her bed. Her phone dinged which she found odd so she grabbed it to look at who was texting her.
Unknown number: I see you, bitch. Slumming it with lowly bikers?! I thought you were better than that. I'll see you soon.
She didn't recognize the number and didn't know who knew she had bikers over at her apartment that evening. It really scared her and she thought she'd talk to Juice after breakfast in the morning. The scary text made it hard for her to go to sleep as her mind tried to figure out who might have sent it. When she did finally go to sleep, she had bad dreams all night which kept waking her up. Around seven am, she finally got up for the day. She took a quick shower, dressed, then walked into the kitchen to make some breakfast. Omelets and sausages sounded good so she chopped part of green bell pepper, diced part of a small onion, cut some cherry tomatoes in half, grated part of a block of cheddar cheese, and broke up some leafy green spinach before whisking three eggs for the omelet. While she let some butter heat up in her skillet, she got a couple sausage patties cooking in another skillet. After her breakfast was ready, she grabbed her phone and sent a text to Juice telling him about the scary text she'd received after they'd left the previous night and asked his opinion on what to do. He urged her to come to the garage so they could see this text for themselves and he could try and figure out who'd sent it. She agree before turning to her breakfast.
Juice quickly let Jax know about the issue with Skylar as soon as he could. The blond wondered who knew she was hanging out with the club and what they wanted with her. He didn't think she was the type to make enemies or do something illegal. About ten minutes later, Skylar arrived at the clubhouse. Not seeing anyone but some of the regular workers at the garage, she headed into the clubhouse. She found most of the bikers there and Juice was quick to give her a hug. He wanted to see the text so she brought it up and handed her phone over to her friend. The IO looked at it then took it to Jax, Happy, and Bobby to look over as well. Reading the text, Jax immediately knew that it came from someone she knew or had known. He told Juice to track the number and find out what he could. The IO immediately grabbed his laptop and got to work. The blond biker leader walked over to where Skylar was chatting with Opie and Quinn and gave her phone back and told her they'd keep her safe. She smiled and thanked him. It didn't take Juice long to figure out who sent the threatening text. As he was gathering information, her phone dinged again.
Unknown number: those biker scum can't help you! I'll have you one way or another! See you soon.
Her eyes widened when she read the latest text. Jax inquired as to what was going on so she handed her phone to the blond to read what had been sent.
"Darlin', not to scare you, but he's watching everything you do. He knows you're here with us." Jax stated making her gasp, "We'll keep you safe, ok? Don't worry."
"How can I not worry?" She asked.
"Leave this prick to us, Doll." Tig exclaimed as he walked up to the small group.
Tig liked her a lot and hated that she was being harassed. As Juice was doing more intel, one of the prospects came running into the clubhouse.
"Jax! Jax! There's some car sitting out by the front gate. He's been here almost since she arrived. He hasn't moved, just sitting in the car with binoculars." The prospect exclaimed.
