A few days after the bikers and Skylar had returned from Vegas, Jax called for a lockdown because the Niners were threatening the club over what Jax thought was a misunderstanding. The blond biker leader thought Skylar should be included in the lockdown as she was a close friend of the club and he didn't want anything to happen to her. He had Juice call her to let her know about the lockdown and that she was needed to be at the clubhouse with the rest of their families and close friends. She was in the middle of a stream so she told her community that an emergency had come up and she had to go but didn't know when she'd be back. She apologized before stopping her stream then exiting out of her game. She packed her duffle bag as quickly as she could with several days' worth of clothes, her toiletries, a couple books, and her extra phone charger. Looking around her bedroom and bathroom, she thought she had all she needed so she left her apartment and headed straight to the club.

Juice was busy doing intel as Jax asked him to when Skylar arrived. Chibs and Tig greeted the young woman when she approached the picnic table where they were sitting by the clubhouse. Opie was out with Gemma while the biker queen did the shopping for the lockdown. Skylar didn't know what to expect or where she'd be sleeping when she arrived. Chibs was happy that Skylar was there with them as he hated the idea of something happening to her because of the club. Tig was thrilled she'd come like Juice asked. The medic suggested she head inside the clubhouse to try and get settled. She smiled at the pair and excused herself before doing as he suggested. Jax and Bobby were in the chapel discussing their options. Happy, Quinn, and Ratboy were sitting at a table having a beer waiting on whatever they were going to do that night. Skylar entered the clubhouse then walked to have a seat by the pool table. She placed her bag on the ground at her feet and just looked around the clubhouse.

Gemma and Opie finally returned so Jax had the prospects help unload the groceries from Gemma's car. She put up all the groceries as they were brought in then looked through everything to decide what to make for dinner. There were almost thirty people there at the compound that needed to be fed. That night Gemma decided on making a taco bar with grilled chicken or taco meat as the protein plus all the fixings, Spanish rice, and homemade guacamole to go along with the chips and salsa. She wasn't making the salsa from scratch this time. While Gemma was busy in the kitchen doing some meal prep, Jax stood on a chair to welcome all their guests to the clubhouse, explained that they'd been invited because they were close to the club and the club didn't want anything happening to them, and that if they had any quality-of-life issues to talk to his mother. He promised to lift the lockdown as quickly as possible. When he was done with his little speech, he jumped down off the chair and had a seat. Skylar sat there quietly watching the people around her not wanting to be in anyone's way. Juice was busy with doing intel so he wasn't paying attention to anything but that.

Jax thought they'd see what the Niners were going to do before making a plan on how to proceed. Around four pm, Gemma began cooking several packages of chicken breasts, seasoned, and several packages of hamburger meat. She'd already diced two heads of lettuce, several tomatoes, three onions, and had two packages of pre-shredded cheese. Tig moved to sit with Skylar as he thought she looked lonely sitting all by herself. She smiled as he sat down. He engaged her in conversation about the lockdown, what to expect, where she'd be sleeping, how Gemma handled cooking, and that they'd lift the lockdown as soon as they felt the threat had passed. She just nodded but remained quiet. He asked how she was doing so she told him that she was just sitting there people watching and trying to stay out of everyone's way. He laughed and said she'd been invited because she was considered a close friend of the club and they wanted to help keep her safe. They talked about the club and the lockdown for a while before Jax called for church. Tig excused himself leaving Skylar to sit by herself and watch the other women and children in the clubhouse.
