Chapter 1 / The New Kid Arrives With Style

When Annabeth stalks you- It's actually quite scary..

A large and loud 'THUMP' was heard outside of the FarmHouse.

Me, Annabeth, and Chiron were having a serious conversation before that loud 'THUMP,'

I, being a very fast reaction person, immediately jumped up, and rushed outside. Finding a unconscious boy.

"Hey! Chiron, your going to want to see this!" I shouted back, pulling the unconscious boy onto the steps of the Farmhouse.

The boy was actually quite short, probably standing at 5'6, his short wavy black hair, his eyes were half closed- for what I saw was a sea-green eye color.

Chiron galloped out of the Farmhouse Annabeth follow close behind him. (Beside of him)

"Percy?" Chiron looked down at the familiar figure.

Annabeth looked down at the boy, her face froze, turning the color of a vampire. "He's the one. He must be."

"Silence, Annabeth," The man said, "He's still conscious," Before locking eyes with me, "Cassidy, bring him inside."

I could physically feel the boy go limp, "Yes sir," I nodded, carrying the boy—with ease—into the medical bay.

I was exhausted, being a healer? Geez, it's so hard being a healer..

Finally, I got a moment to rest, sitting in the edge of the boy's bed. Annabeth, was sitting the chair beside of Percy's sleeping body.

Before she spoke up, "You need to get sleep, Solar."

I stood up, stretching my limbs, with a yawn, "Hhhah, why should you care, Chase?" I recomposed myself.

"I don't care, I'm just worried," Annabeth sighed.

I grumbled at her retaliation, "What's this kids name anyway?" I tried to change the subject.

She was about to make another- 'sleep' notice, but she didn't. "Chiron said his name was Percy, Percy Jackson." She adjusted her seat on the chair.

My thumb pressed against his forehead, "Possible broken bones," I mumbled, rolling my brunette hair out of my face.

"Chase," I called over to Annabeth. "Could you check his temperature for me?"

Annabeth nodded, grabbed a thermometer as slowly, and gently, sliding it into Percy's mouth and under his tongue.

"I'll be going, I'll talk later, Chase," I waved bye to Annabeth.

Annabeth nodded, "See you around, Solar."

I went to leave the medical bay, before..
It started.

Voices, I had been hearing voices for the past months. They hadn't been this bad- until..

'You will betray them
You don't belong here'

I gripped the doorframe, 'J-just get out of my head-!' I internally screamed, 'STOP!'

Annabeth went to my side, "Cassidy?" She placed a hand on my shoulder.
