Chapter 5: Ice-Cream Part 1

Marci's POV

After I got to know Jason, I went back to my locker. Cole was with me the whole time, and he wouldn't leave my side. While at my locker, getting my gym uniform, Britney came. "Hey Slut" she said. Jenna growled but I just lowered my head and kept my mouth shut. "What are you doing with this slut Cole?" she said finally noticing that Cole was there. I looked up at him and I noticed that his eyes were starting to go black. Oh No! Jack was going to be in charge soon! Jenna was happy that our mate was going to defend us, but I couldn't let this happen at school. I touched his arm and he turned his head looking at me. He a calmed down a bit but Britney, being the idiot she was, shoved me off him and yelled "Hey SLUT!!! Keep Off My Man!!" She threw me to the floor and before I could do anything, Cole was on top of her.

His eyes were black and I knew his wolf was in charge. "Please Cole not here." Britney said giggling. How much of an idiot can you be! At this, Cole was fuming. He slapped Britney across the face and yelled "HOW DARE YOU!!!!! SHE IS MY MATE AND YOU WILL SHOW SOME RESPECT!" At this her eyes went wide and by now, everyone in the hallway was staring. I got up off the floor and went over to Cole. I pulled on his shoulder and he got off of Britney and dug his face into my neck breathing in my scent. His muscles relaxed and he even helped Britney off the floor. Before he let go off her hand, she pulled her close and I heard him whisper "You're the slut, not her."

After he said this, Britney ran off and Cole pulled me into his arms. Everyone was now staring at us, and Cole yelled out "This is my mate! Mess with her, and you mess with both me and my pack!" feeling both safe and shy, I snuggled into Cole's chest. What was I doing! I only met the guy today! But I couldn't deny my pull towards him and it didn't help with my wolf loved it and was purring at every contact. He picked me up bridal style and carried me out of the school.

We went to the bench were we played 20 questions and sat there. There was a comfortable silence, but that was broken when he said "I'm sorry." I looked him in the eye and said, "What are you sorry for? 1) this happens everyday, and 2) You defended me. No one's ever defended me before."

He looked at me sadly and said "This happens everyday!?" I nod my head yes and his eyes start to go black but before he can I grab his head and make him look me in the eyes. "I also said you defended me. I'm happy about that. Don't ruin this." With this I bury my head in his chest and his arms go around me.

"I'm sorry Baby, It won't happen ever again." I smile. He picks me up and put me on his lap so that I'm basically straddling him. "So, want to go for ice-cream?" he says smiling. I smile right back and nod my head. As we get tot he parking lot, he heads toward a black camero." No Way! You own THIS!" I yell out. He laughs and says "Yeah, come on lets go get you Ice-Cream." "ICE-CREAM!!!!!!!" I yell and he laughs. God his laugh is sexy! Wait, did I just say sexy!? What is wrong with me?

We get to the ice-cream shop and I order a vanilla ice- cream with a strawberry swirl with some chocolate. I licked it and I moaned out in delight. "God this is so good! I've haven't had ice-cream in the longest!" "Really, you haven't ice-cream?"he asks. "It's just been a long time." I say while blushing.

Once we finish our ice-cream, Cole asks if I want to go anywhere else. "I want to, but I have to go home." I both say and think. Jenna whimpers and i see Cole frown. I want to keep him happy. Dad shouldn't be home until 6. It's only 3. "Okay, if we hurry, we can go see a movie." He smiles and takes my hand. we go to the movie theater and I see that the only movie that starts in 5 minuets is Maleficent. I love Disney movies anyway. I look at Cole with pleading eyes and he bends down and whispers in my ear "Do we have to watch this." "Yes! It's Disney and it has Angelina Jolie!" I whisper yell back. He sighs and he buys two tickets. We rush to the theater and make it just as the last advert ends.

I loved the movie. It was a little hard to concentrate when Cole had his face in my neck most of the time, but it was great. I even cried a little when Maleficent tried to wake Aurora on her bed. It was so sweet! We left the theater and I had to tell Cole to rush home. It was 5:30. I had to get home before dad did, make him diner, and hurry to my room. We reached my house at 5:45 and just as I was about to thank him, I froze. Dad's car was already parked in the driveway.

"Everything ok?" Cole asked. "Uh yeah, I was just surprised that my dad is home. It's earlier than usual." He nodded and he unlocked the car. "Can I meet him?" he asked. "NO! Uh no, that's not a good idea. I'll just see you tomorrow." i said pleading. He looked at me questioningly, but I just got out the car and went into my house. As soon as I closed the door, my dad was at me with a silver chain. "YOUR LATE!" He yelled.

As soon as he got that out his mouth, he pushed the chain around my throat. I screamed out in agonizing pain. "Dad, please." I breathed out. Just before I passed out from pain, I heard the door fly open, probably breaking it, and my dad yell "WHAT THE FUC-" But that's it. Everything went black.
