Chapter 9: Movie Marathon

Marci's POV

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!

I woke up to the sound of of an alarm clock. I looked around, where was I, and how did I get here? I turned around in the bed I was in, and saw one of the most breathtaking sights in my life. Cole was sleeping with his head semi-buried in my neck. The sunlight hit his skin and he looked heavenly. Looking at him, although now it was more like staring, made me remember the past events. Oh no, the doctors. I tried to get out of bed but Cole grabbed my waist and pulled me onto his lap. I screamed from shock but he put his hand over my mouth to muffle the sound.

"I thought you were asleep," i said. "Well, I felt a certain someone try to escape. And I remember that we have a certain doctors appointment." He said. I whimpered but then he said, "And if your good, we'll get ice-cream before we go to school." I smiled and said "Okay, but you better keep your word on the ice-cream." He smiled and said "I wouldn't dream of lying to you. Especially about ice-cream. You would have my head." I nodded my head and said "Damn right i would."

He laughed and I went to go take a shower. I came out of the shower and saw I didn't have any clothes. I wrapped a towel around my body, and came out of the bathroom. Cole was on the bed in ripped jeans and a blue tight t-shirt that showed off his muscles. May I say, Damn he was fine! Wait, what am I thinking! I only met him yesterday! I came out and I was sure that my cheeks were a furious shade of red. "I don't have any clothes." He looked me in the eyes and I saw that his eyes were black. Seeing me, his eyes got a bit lighter and I saw him move his lips but no words were coming out. He must be mind-linking someone. In less than a minuet, a lady came up to the room and knocked on the door. "These were my daughter's. I hope they fit you." she said. She bowed her head and left the room. Just as I was about to go back to the bathroom, Cole comes and raps his arms around me and whispers huskily into my ear, "Hey, you can get changed right here, babe." Oh God! I shivered and whispered out "Cole. Taking it slow remember." I turned and i looked into his eyes.

I saw his eyes get brighter and he said "Sorry, but you are incredibly beautiful and sexy. I couldn't control myself." I nodded my head and went to the bathroom. The clothes were some yoga pants with a sports bra and a tight blue t-shirt. I actually liked these clothes. I came out and and saw Cole staring at me. He came up and kissed me on the forehead but I could tell he wanted to do more.

He took me to the pack hospital and a woman whose name was Lindsay, was waiting for us. She bowed and said "Alpha,Luna. Welcome." We walk into a room and everything is white. Lindsay does various tests and 2 hours later, she comes back with the results. "Okay well I have good news and bad news." She said. I looked at Cole and he looked back. "Um, can I have the good news first?" She nodded her head and started. "Ok, well your wolf isn't dead. She is still there." I breathed out a breath I didn't even know I was holding, but then she continued. "The bad news is that you wolf is in what seems to be a hibernation or sleep mode. I have no idea when she will come out of it, but tonight is a full moon. The only thing I can suggest is to hope that the Goddess herself can help tonight."

After thanking her, we left and got into Cole's car. As soon as we got into the car, the tears I didn't know I was holding came out. Cole pulled me onto his lap and whispered sweat nothings to me as I sobbed into his chest. "Shhh, It'll be ok. The full moon is tonight. You'll be ok." Cole whispered. As I started to calm down, he put me back into the passengers seat and drove us to the ice-cream parlor. I ordered my usual, and I perked up a bit but it wasn't as good as normal.

"Do you still want to go to school, or do you just want to go back to the house?" Cole asked. Well, no one would care if I was at school or not and I really hated school. "Let's go home." I said. Once we got back to the pack house, we sat on the couch with me curled up onto his lap and watched all of the Harry Potter movies. Nothing like a magic movie marathon. At the end of the fourth movie, people started to come home, so we moved the marathon upstairs. Just as we were about to put on the fifth one, I remembered something. "Cole, where's my brothers?" He looked sad for a second then answered. "Well, Matt couldn't contain his anger, so Dylan took Matt back to your old house and they, they, well they took care of your dad." He said. I stared at him for a second and started crying again. Look, I bet all of you think I'm a cry baby but I cried. I cried and I was glad to do so. He took me into his ams and sat me down on his lap. He stroked my hair and calmed me down. After I calmed down, we continued our marathon until night.

Cole's POV

I woke up to squirming in my arms. I pulled the little squirming bundle onto my lap she screamed. Damn! So not the desired reaction. I put my hand over her mouth to muffle the sound. If anyone woke up because of me, It would no be pleasant.

I thought you were asleep," she said. Hmm her morning voice was sexy."Well, I felt a certain someone try to escape. And I remember that we have a certain doctors appointment." I said and I heard her whimper. I can't stand it when she was sad and so I added "And if your good, we'll get ice-cream before we go to school." She smiled and said "Okay, but you better keep your word on the ice-cream." Haha! This girl and her ice-cream. "I wouldn't dream of lying to you. Especially about ice-cream. You would have my head." She nodded her head and said "Damn right i would."

I laughed. I can't help it, she just makes me laugh. She got up and went to go take a shower, so I changed my clothes. I put on my ripped jeans and a tight blue shirt. When I was done, I sat on the bed and waited for my mate. What I saw shocked me. she came out in a towel only. "I don't have any clothes." She said. I barley heard her since Jack my wolf was fighting for control. He wanted nothing more than to mark her right here and now but I looked her in the eyes and came back to my senses. I mind-linked Jinx, a family friend asking for clothes. she came and gave Marci her clothes. "These were my daughter's. I hope they fit you." she said. She bowed her head and left the room. I saw her move to the bathroom and Jack took control for a minuet. i wrap my arms her and whisper "Hey, you can get changed right here, babe." "Cole. Taking it slow remember."

When she was done, I saw she was still sad so I asked "Do you still want to go to school, or do you just want to go back to the house?" "Let's go home."she said. We started a magic movie marathon as she called it and watched all the Harry Potters. She was cuddled into my lap and I was very content and happy. At the end of the fourth movie, people started to come home, so we moved the marathon upstairs. Just as we were about to put on the fifth one, she asked the one question I didn't want her to ask "Cole, where's my brothers?" I thought of how o answer her and answered her question. "Well, Matt couldn't contain his anger, so Dylan took Cole back to your old house and they, they, well they took care of your dad." She stared at me for a second and started crying again. I don't mind when she cries because I know its her was of coping. I couldn't image going though her life. I took her into my ams and sat her down on my lap. I stroked her soft hair and calmed her down. Then we continued our marathon until night.
