Chapter 16: Truth/Magic

Recap: "I have something to tell all of you, but you can't tell anyone."

Marci's POV

They look at me and I see curiosity on all of their faces. I took a deep breath and started "Cole, remember when you got hit by lightning?" He nodded his head yes and I continued. "Well....it was me." He looked at me and shocked shook his head no and stated as if it were a fact "No, your wrong. That was the weather, no one can control the weather. Maybe your a bit tired from all that's happened." He moved towards me and outstretched his hand. I slapped it away and yelled "I'm NOT tired!" Suddenly there was a huge gray thunder cloud over Cole's head. He looked up and his eyes widened. "What the fuck!" He yelled and I saw the cloud get darker by the minuet.  "No! Clear!" I yelled out and instantly, the cloud went away. Everyone looked at me, and what I saw made me cower.

Cole's eyes were black and he was walking towards me. Soon, he got to where I was standing and yelled right in my face "What the FUCK!!!!!! This means you struck me with lightning!! What the Fuck Marci!" I moved to the corner of the room and started to curl into a little ball. As soon as Dylan and Matt saw me, they rushed to my side and started rubbing calming circles into my back, one on each side. Then Matt stood up, walked over to Cole, and punched him right in the face. "What The FUCK!!! I told you to treat her right and this is how you chose to treat her after she wakes up from a coma! Fuck you!" Matt yells as he gets right into Cole's face so that he's staring him straight on. "Stop......." I whispered scared. I really didn't want a fight. This really wasn't helping.

I stood up, walked right past everything  and everyone and went outside. I took a deep breath of the cool night air. I was enjoying my time until a pair of arms wrapped around me, and from the sparks I could tell it was Cole. While my wolf Jenna was extremely happy, I didn't need this. Slowly I unwrapped his arms from around me and walked away. He came towards me in protest but I raised my hand. By now Dylan and Matt were out here and I crouched down so that I was on my hands and knees. After a few painful seconds, I looked down to my paws and my black music notes. I looked up and I saw everyone looking down at me in awe. Soon, Dylan smiled and came over to me. "You did it! You shifted! That's my little sis!" Soon, he was in wolf form right beside me and Matt came over and did the same.

With both brothers on my side I looked at Cole, a know midnight black wolf. He came up to me, but then I heard Matt growl from beside me. I nudged my head into his fur. 'It's ok. I need to do this.' I walked up to Cole and said 'This is the real me. Accept or reject.'  I looked at him expectantly as he said 'I Cole Black, accept you Marci Johnson to be my mate.'  I looked at him and then Jenna came out and howled with joy up into the moon. Soon, everyone else joined in until I saw a few people come out of there houses. Oh no! I can't stay! I run off into the woods full speed ahead. After I feel like I'm far away, I stop at the waterfall where I was rescued from jumping that one day. Soon, everyone else caught up and they looked at me like I was crazy. 'I can trust you right?'  I ask and everyone nods their heads. 'Ok, well I forgot to mention that I can't be seen or known, otherwise people will try to....try to rape me.'  At this I earned growls from both my brothers and Cole but Cole's was the loudest. I knew he wouldn't let anyone hurt me, but let's just hope I won't have to use these powers often. Some may say it's magic, but not all magic is good.

Cole's POV

"I have something to tell all of you, but you can't tell anyone."   I looked at her like she was crazy. What the heck does she mean? I'm dragged out of my thoughts as I hear her talk. "Cole, remember when you got hit by lightning?" I nodded my head and she continued. "Well....it was me." What!? I'm sure I had a look of absolute shock on my face but I didn't care, I think she must be delusional."No, your wrong. That was the weather, no one can control the weather. Maybe your a bit tired from all that's happened."  I moved towards her and tried to get her into my arms but she slapped it away and yelled "I'm NOT tired!" Suddenly there was a huge gray thunder cloud over my head. I looked up.  "What the fuck!" I both yelled and thought as I looked at my mate. I saw worried come over her face and she yelled "No! Clear!" I looked up and the cloud was gone. I looked at her and for a second, Jack my wolf took over.

I walked towards her and yelled right in her face "What the FUCK!!!!!! This means you struck me with lightning!! What the Fuck Marci?!" I saw her move to the corner of the room and curl into a ball. I felt bad for hurting my mate but she struck me with lightning. Like seriously LIGHTNING!!!!! I saw her brothers go to her and I felt a pang in my chest as I realize that it should be me by her side. I saw one of her brothers. Matt I think his name was, walk right up to me. Just as I was wondering what he was about to do, he punched me right in the face. "What The FUCK!!! I told you to treat her right and this is how you chose to treat her after she wakes up from a coma! Fuck you!" Matt yells as he gets right into my face so that he's staring me straight on. He's right of course but I won't let him know that. suddenly  "Stop......." I hear Marci whisper.

I was still staring down Matt when Marci got up and left the room leaving us all in the room dumbfounded. Naturally, we all left the room to follow her. I raced ahead and saw her enjoying the night. I wrapped my arms around her and i heard her wolf sigh in content until she unwrapped  my arms from around her and walked away. Hey! I went towards her to say something when she held up her hands as if to say not to.  Suddenly she crouched down so that she was on her hands and knees. What was she doing? Then, I heard her bones crack and I watched in awe as I saw my mate transform to the most beautiful wolf I had ever scene with music notes all over her body.  Soon her other brother went towards her and was saying "You did it! You shifted! That's my little sis!" Soon both her and her brother were in wolf form behind her and I just shifted into my midnight black wolf.

I tried to get close to her but Matt growled and I growled back. She nudged her head into him and walked up to me. 'This is the real me. Accept or reject.'  she looked at me.  How could I ever reject my mate? Finally I said 'I Cole Black, accept you Marci Johnson to be my mate.'  I looked at her and saw her eyes become dark, Suddenly she  howled with joy up into the moon. Soon, everyone else joined in until she runs off into the woods full speed ahead. Soon, we reach the waterfall were I saved her and she says'I can trust you right?' everyone nods their heads and she continues 'Ok, well I forgot to mention that I can't be seen or known, otherwise people will try to....try to rape me.'  I growled as loud as I could. So loud that my body shook. I won't let anyone hurt her ever again. She is my magic. She is my life.
