As Mon goes back to the living room, Sam steps forward, enveloping Mon in a hug. The connection between them is undeniable, a shared solace in the aftermath of the storm. Shortly after, Ivy joins them. Sam and Ivy shared a greeting. Sam stood up to go to the kitchen. The awkward silence filled the environment so much, so Ivy decided to break it by asking Mon a question, but Sam's reply left both of them in shock.

Back at present,

"Umm, So, Mon, is it true? Is Sam your girlfriend?",

Mon opens her mouth to respond, but before she can get a word out, Sam appears beside her, her voice confident.

"Yes. I'm her girlfriend", arms crossed against her chest, a proud and confident look on Sam's face.

Both Mon and Kang Ivy turn to Sam, shock written on their faces. Mon thinks, "Whatttt thee, I'm her girlfriend? Since when? What is this woman talking about?" A pretty shocking but funny reaction was filling up Mon's mind.

"Oh, I... I didn't expect that. Congratulations, then!", a rage and a hint of jealousy were visible in Ivy's eyes. She knew how much she hated this.

Jealous. Jealous. Really, Really Jealous. Rage. Regret.

"Yep, Thanks for leaving her. If not for you, I wouldn't have gotten such an amazing girlfriend", Confidence was rushing through Sam, glowing in her face, a visible smirk of winning; those made Ivy laugh awkwardly.

"Well, I guess I'll leave then. The rain has stopped. My mum must be worried", she quickly made up an excuse and left the place. I mean, like yeah, stop being a third wheel between them. Haha. Your lose. Kang Ivy walks away, leaving Mon and Sam alone. Mon turns to Sam, her eyes wide with questions.

Sam bids Ivy bye with a proud smile on her before facing Mon. "That wasn't so hard, was it?", Sam smiled. pure. real. soft.

Before Mon could ask Sam about what had just happened, Sam quickly made up an excuse and went to bed. "Uh, Um, I'm sleepy. I'm going to bed. Good night", Sam flees from the crime scene, leaving Mon dumbfounded. Mon unknowingly smiles at the behaviour of Sam. She hasn't been happy like this for a long time.
