"What girlfriend? Since when? I'm not her girlfriend. Why does she stand up for me and how did she find us?", questions roamed around Mon's head.

AT SAM'S ROOM - NIGHT
The moon hung high in the sky, casting a serene glow through the window of Sam's room. The soft light bathed the room in a gentle silver, creating an almost ethereal atmosphere. Mon sat on the edge of Sam's bed, her heart pounding in anticipation. Mon and Sam sit on the edge of Sam's bed, the tension palpable.
"Sam, back there... were you serious?"
Sam nervously looks at Mon, her gaze steady. "Mon, there's something I've been wanting to ask you. Something important."
"What is it, Sam? You know you can tell me anything." Mon turned to face her, noticing the vulnerability in Sam's eyes.
Sam took a deep breath, her hands fidgeting with the hem of her shirt.
"I know we've been through a lot lately, with all the mysteries and the past... But through it all, I've realized something undeniable. I... I like you, Mon. More than I've ever liked anyone."
Mon's breath hitched, her feelings mirroring Sam's confession.
"So, I guess what I'm trying to say is... Mon, will you be my girlfriend?", Sam's voice Shaked through the air.
Before Mon could respond, the closet door burst open and their friends spilt out, cheering and clapping.
"Finally! We thought you'd never ask!", Pearl says excited than anyone.
"Way to go, Sam!", Riley exclaimed.
Namornota and Niko joined in with wolf whistles and laughter, while Mon's friends, Rae, Celine, Sage, and Zayden, teased them with playful nudges.
"Ooier, look at them, they're blushing!", Rae was a real tease! Nobody could tease better than her.
"This calls for a celebration!", Celine boomed.
"Hey woman, why are you always hungry?", Zayden joked.
"What'd you just say?", Celine inquired in an angry but whimsical way. (Ehm, couples after all)
