People don't seam to realice that being a poet isn't about making rimes and words.
It's not about thinking ahead of time if certain words will look pretty to eye.
No, being a poet is looking at the world is looking at the world like you don't know,
like every day you find that there is a rime in every tree, every smile,
that moments and memories can change the meaning of sentences
like tides in the ocean.
That love has thousands, if not millions of other meanings in poetry
that in every other situation.
Poetry is holding a gun that always tries to aim at the heart
while being in the dark and not knowing who your target is.
It is trying to make a difference when you yourself aren't able
to on your own.
Because poetry isn't about words and pretty meanings,
it isn't about you or me or why.
It's about a gun with a triger and a blind shooter
who is just trying to make a difference and be better.
Who after this will at their hands look and not see blood,
instead they will see a future and consecuences that they will be better,
please let them be better.
My hands are clean.
